One thing about Evra that never pleases me is his decision to shoot hes friggin terrible.

He needs to shoot more and improve on that side of the game, some of the positions he gets in are just asking for the ball to be smashed in to the net.

Great move playing Nani at left back today....oh no sorry he filled in for where regular left back should have been for 2 of their bloody goals. That right hand side how many opposition goals have been scored from there and the common factor our own invisible captain!

Evra was at fault for letting in one cross which lead to a goal. The one when his movement was towards his player and to the ball was actually correct tactically as a defender. The only time you pass on responsibility to another player as a defender is as you're going further away from goal and he kept with his man and let nani take up responsibility for his man.

People in here are actually hilarious when it comes to rating Evra. He was so much better than rafael today who was a disaster at the back and was at fault for THREE of their goals. Three out of four. Yet he is still getting better ratings by some people than evra who was easily the better player today.

Better awareness by rafael today and we win this game. He has done it a few times this season in both the league and europe when he goes to sleep.

patrice has been good for about four months now. he had been poor after the french world cup debacle then niggly injuries

i jumped up thinking he had scored his second united goal but came crashing back off the post - he needs to improve on his shooting, some of the position he gets in to are shootable positions, he could easily get 5+ goals a season

He's in the side because of his personality and being Captain. Defensively he's gone to pieces.

It pains me to say this because he is one my favorite players but i think we are know seeing the decline of Patrice Evra. Some of his performances this year have been really bad. Going forward he is outstanding nobody can doubt his skill going forward but his main job is to defend and too many times this season he has been caught out of position i have lost count the amount of times that i have saw him in the middle of the defence when he should be defending his position. Left back is not a area were we have a number of players to choose from Fabio is a left back by trade but he has a bad injury record when has hampered his season, young Fryers did well once he came in but has not been heard of in 1st team since then. I think in the summer we need to invest in a new left back in order for Evra to up his game if he had a bit of company for the left back spot it may up his game. His best football came when he had the likes of Silvestre and Heinze challenging for the left back spot.

Thats Evra right? Wo is going out to the crosser then?

You can't say he isn't impressive offensively. If only we had a mobile CB who can cover him when he is up in the field, and if he had competition, I feel he could still be a great asset...
