    Cheers did think so after my post but was wondering if it was Welbeck. Used to hd quality television lol.

    Its not great defending but its not as if he made no attempt and no one else made a challenge. Evras biggest problem is any winger that can take him on in a one on one.

    You dont really work on and drastically improve when your that age though. the only way hed look a better player again is if someone covered for his limitations or our style of play changed which really suited him.

    I don't think he's that good offensively. He makes some amazing runs but his delivery is shocking and he can be predictable.

    I still get annoyed when I see his amazing run in extra time where he put a goal on a plate for Giggs, only for the latter to toe poke the ball into the middle of the goal for Terry to clear :mad:

    In terms of the actual goals, he wasn't. Evans was the worst defender of the lot though - it was like watching the Evans of last season.

    Evra's been a liability to us for some time now. If his attacking play was quality, I could have been biased but it isn't and his defending in one on one's is like shooting a bb gun at a freight train. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes elsewhere this summer.
