Marchisio been good this season, he found his form under Conte. Last season he played out wide most of the team. Fantastic midfielder, but he is too similar (Albeit with much better technique) to our Fletcher.

Midfielder linked with United | Manchester United - EatSleepSport

Athletic Bilbao midfielder Iker Muniain is being linked with a move to Manchester United, according to media reports in Spain.

United have been linked with the 18-year-old in the past but the reports in Spain suggest they are ready to make a move in January or next summer, although how true that is remains to be seen.

Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be linked but it is unlikely that any of the interested parties will match Bilbao's valuation of the player.

Muniain has a release clause of 45 million euros in his contract, the chances of anyone paying that sort of money appear to be nil but a move could be on the cards in the future for the young star who is a fans' favourite at Bilbao where they think of him as a new Wayne Rooney.

he's not really a midfielder is he? I thought he was more of a forward, well, someone who can play across the board in attack (I guess centrally too?)

    scholes-sent-on-5m-united-scouting-trip-report

Manchester United have sent Paul Scholes to watch Huddersfield youngster Jordan Rhodes, according to Metro, with the youngster impressing with his form in League One and abroad.

Rhodes has scored nine goals in his last four matches, as well as a hattrick for the Scotland Under 21 side.

And United have reportedly been so impressed by the 21-year-old that they have insisted Paul Scholes himself go and make his own judgements on the starlet.

Scholes was in the stands as Hudderfield drew 2-2 with Scunthorpe United, and Rhodes scored yet again for his club, leaving the United legend full of praise for the wonderkid. Scholes was also keen to take a look at Oliver Norwood, who is currently on loan at the club from Old Trafford.

I really rate Asamoah, but the only disdvantage if we signed him is that he would be gone mid way through the season every 2 years for the Africian nations cup.
