He's very young and he hasn't experience yet. We're fighting the title now, we aren't in a position that he could play. Just think, if he played against Wigan for example, and we lose the same the most people and the media immediately have a negative attitude toward him.

His confidence will be less, weaking of the performance and things like. So to be careful with young players like he.

what would you do with him next season? With Giggs and Scholes staying and maybe another midfielder (or two) signing he won´t get much more game time than he gets now. If not sold we have also Anderson and Park who need games sometimes.

Yes we have Scholes and Giggs. But their combined age is about 75 and cannot really be expected to play a first team starting role which could include 3 games a week. I want to keep Scholes and Giggs for another year, as their experience and knowledge is vital for the development of other players. In another year though they will both be gone and I cannot see Anderson making it at the club, I would love to be wrong though.

I'm not saying start him every week but could get more subtitute appearances. Earlier in the season when we were playing Rafa and Park in central midfield and not playing Pogba. I don't understand that one bit!

In all honesty, if SAF isnt going to buy then hes got to give LePog more time on the pitch, how is he ever going to develop

I think those who expect him to stay are setting themselves up for a very big blow. In my mind had Pogba wanted to stay, he'd have told the agent to f*ck himself and signed anyway.

I think its about time we give him an ultimatum.

We must seriously rate his potential to allow this to happen.

he had long enough to make a decision.... what is he waiting for ffs. We should have clearance soon, to plan our transfers. Pogba leaving and we would have to sign another player.

You know what irritates me, the 'Paul Pogba is the future' brigade who were citing his potential as a reason not to make any midfield signings last summer.

not aimed at me specifically but would just like to say for the record that while I rate his potential very highly and believe we should do what we can to get him to stay here (within reason) - I did, and still do think we absolutely need to and should sign 1 if not 2 midfielders at least.

Actually I think SAF may have something to do with this problem, a year ago there were a lot of people building him up as something special and a reason why we didnt need to go out and buy expensive internationals who might fail as Seba was seen to do.

I can see C SAF telling him and TClev and Morrison last summer that he wasnt going to buy any 1 because they were Uniteds future and he didnt need to buy if they would fulfil the potential he felt they have. I think this went to his and Morrisons heads

I think as well, that even if hes young, in the circumstances we should have given him more match action, you cant build him up like he has been, then knock him down by not using him, he's got too big for his boots I think as a result of being built up as someone special for the future and then has been left on the sidelines when we had such dire midfield problems that we had to play Rooney too deep and rely on Scholes coming out of retirement its given the leech agents the opportunity to manipulate him. Hes either not ready, in which case we shouldnt have built him up so much and should have bought midfielders or he should at least have been given a chance.

Fergie actually cited Pogba as an example when talking about Sneijder not being needed.

I doubt he actually believed that if he's now prepared to risk losing him for the sake of 5 or 10k a week

Never the less, he went on the record saying it. Personally I think Pogba should just f*ck off to Turin, because he's obviously not that concerned about staying with us. Bring one of the other lads in like Tunnicliffe or Pettruci.

Far too much emphesis being put on Pogba, there are many good prospects in the reserves, and he is not as good as Will Keane. He is the one who should getting chances in the first team and getting a long contract. If he stays he WILL become our best player.
