"United's opening fixture will be played on Monday 12 December against Corinthians, with the Colo Colo game to follow on Tuesday. A third encounter, against another Brazilian team, Flamengo, will kick off on Wednesday and help determine which fixture United will play in the knockout stages of the competition."

I watched some of the match via the Brazilian TV link. It was hard to make out when they even mentioned a United player by name, and I didn't see any team line-ups flashed on the screen either.

Definitely a few new players being given a run in United colours. It will be interesting to see an official squad list at some point. Clearly I was guessing with some of the names, and clearly I was wrong if they're guys I don't even have on my team list!

Looking down the list of names on the post above, it was only the loanees I hadn't heard of before (Luke Coddington, Aguilar, Noe Baba) in addition to Ryan McConnell.

And when I tried to put names to faces, I also didn't recognise Joe Riley and Callum Evans.
