Maybe it was constant injuries, maybe a lack of chances even though the player had talent, who have been the unluckiest players to ever put on a Man Utd jersey?

Forlan springs to mind immediately. Veron to a lesser extent as he did have his chance.

Andy Richie who got overshadowed by Norman Whiteside, at any other time he probably would have made himself a good career at United.

Stevie Coppell for the timing of his career ending injury.

The entire squad that the Doc built, they were on the verge of cracking the First Division when the Doc was sacked and Sexton came in and wrecked what he had built

Whiteside would have been one of the best players of his era if it wasn't for injuries.

Berba, wrong for our system and when he finally fits in and plays to his potential he's dropped.

Karel Poborsky. I thought he was a fantastic player, had real pace and an eye for goal. I was overjoyed when he signed for us as he was my player of EURO 96.

Unfortunately for the blonde flowing locked one, a young London lad was breaking into the first team, some kid called Beckham. Pob couldn't get a run in the side, was sold to Benfica (where he did really well) and then went back home.

I'd also add Saha, Smith and Anderson to the list as well.

This for not drinking his juice: "5- or 6-hour Energy" regularly, before United games. I'm still suspicious of the gene-tech guys of Barca Academy though, like when Italians were drinking creatine!

Yeah, have to agree there. Or Guliano Maiorana - had to retire through injury (Danny's is obviously worse though)
