Anyone watching the Tour this year? Started today with the Prologue, a 4 mile individual time trial. Cancellara won, with Wiggins finishing 2nd. Last years winner Cadal Evans was down in 13th.

no surprise that Cancellara won. the prologue doesn't have that much bearing on the race as a whole.

Dammit, have Tony Martin in my Cycling fantasy teams, took out Cancellara and put Martin in because Martin has been dominant this season in the TT's. Missed out on loads of points there, ah feck it.

Anyway. Wiggins is definitely favourite in my opinion, this year's Tour is really set up for TTer's who are good climbers, which suits Wiggins to the ground. It's not as mountainous as recent TDF's but there are still some epic climbs and I think it could actually be a crackerjack of a Tour, even for the sprints, Cav will not have it all his own way with the likes of Goss, Kittel and Farrar around.

Will be keeping an eye on my two favourite cyclists, Daniel Martin and Nicolas Roche the two Irish lads who are actually cousins. Martin in particular could surprise a lot of people, he's an excellent climber and may have an outside chance of winning one of the mountain stages.

Very weak Saxo Bank team this year. Shame Contador isn't in the TdF this year.

Sagan again today. The man's a beast, plus he's only 22  Thing is that he is also a decent climber more so than most of the sprinters...

Evans is looking ominous. Wiggins is being helped out a lot by his team which is performing brilliantly right now. BMC may need to step up they're going to push Cadel to back to back wins.

Wiggins' team will win this for him, they'll help him in the mountains more than Evans will be helped. Plus Wiggins is a better Time Trialist imo.

Great win for Thibault Pinot and FDJ today, fantastic effort from the Frenchman, who is an excellent cyclist.

Wiggins destroyed Evans today, totally destroyed him. Another correct stage winner for me and my fantasy TDF though.

You would think that after all the effort to be as aerodynamic as possible, Team Sky would make Wiggins shave his sideburns off.

Where the hell has Chris Froome come from? I did see him out climb Wiggins at the Vuelta but had no idea he could out TT Cancellara.

Hair has absolutely nothing to do with aerodynamics. It does in water for swimmers but not in the air for cyclists. The main reasons they're shaved is to make it easier to clean out a wound and just for general aesthetics. That is a fact by the way.

How does he live with himself knowing those monstrosities are sitting either side of his face?
