    He converted a penalty in the 5-4 victory from Belgium U16 over Greece U16. Two days later he scored again in the 2-1 loss against France U16, this time on a free-kick.

    Reserve season finishes fairly soon doesn't it? We play a bunch of friendlies after that where he can play.

    Not really. It's just a couple of weeks before the first team, but a few games are still to be arranged. I think they are going to Dallas to play some games in a few weeks, can't really see him playing much in them.

    If the article defines competitive football as first-team football, then I'm pretty sure they're mistaken 'cause my assumption was that he'd link up with our Academy as a first-year scholar next season seeing as he's just turned 16. He could certainly progress to the Reserves quickly if he impresses but anyone who thinks he's gonna come into the first team straight away is just fooling themselves.

    P.S. What kind of professional news agency would use the phrase "****-up" in any headline? Maybe it's just me..

    the two free kicks were fantastic ... he is 16 and if continues to grow and improve it would be another 2-3 years when we can see him in first team action ... for next season though would be excited to watch the academy games atleast to watch him

    Next season we gonna have a very strong midfield with Januzaj,Daehli,Rothwell and Pereira featuring together..but with Luke McCullough and Tyler Blankett move to the reserves,it's interesting to see who will fill the void left but that area does not concern me as much as the forward as we have some top talents come from U-16 like Nick Loannou and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson..we just need to add a really top quality striker..

    absolutely we missed a real striker in the other match as well .. Daheli and Bramby provided the attacking options but missed an out and out striker upfront....
