I haven't seen much of this kid, beside that FAYC match against Swansea last season. Can anyone follow the Milk Cup this year tell something more about him (couldn't follow due to very busy schedule I've had)?

Bagged 4 goals against Reyo Express, btw.

Some images of him from the Milk Cup:

I saw the U18s away at Sheffield United last season. On the next pitch, the U16s scored about 7 or 8 goals from memory. I saw Harrop come off the pitch at the end, and I think he was captain, and he had that look about him of "men among boys". The first thing I thought of in terms of his demeanour was Roy Keane. Just somebody who commands respect.

So which position do you think he will be mainly employed this season? He seems to be a skillful player with goals in his bag.Hope to see more of him next season.I've missed the chance to see the like of Goss,Fletcher,Redmond too.

Well I think he should get some time in central midfield, but when he did cover for the U18s, I think he played at right back if I remember correctly. Clearly scoring 4 goals in one of the Milk Cup matches should help Paul McGuinness think of him as somebody who needs to play in support of the front men. But Harrop is a first year for the U18s, so he can be the big man next year. Remember that Joe Rothwell, Ben Pearson, James Weir, Jack Rudge, and Paddy McNair will all want playing time. Assume that Daehli and Januzaj will be more occupied with the Reserves. Then the other news guys like Pereira and Goss will want time on the pitch too.

Roy Keane like demeanour??? tall order to follow ... all the best to him and hope to see him soon in action (which ofcourse is difficult for me unless there are some streams for the academy games)

Yeah I'm talking about that attitude when you see his expression. Not saying anything, just looking confident and in charge.

never seen this kid play but he seems to score a lot for a midfielder. How good is this kid?

Is rated very highly. But tough to tell at this age how good he actually can be.

Is he box to box or a Kagawa like midfielder?

I'd say box to box from what I've seen. Could be a scoring midfielder in the Lampard / Gerrard mould?
