Would love him or Petrucci to take Pogba's place in the squad, with the French lads situation still firmly fubar

What's the deal with this lad then? Could he get chances in the first team? Heard positive things about him, all action player, and, he's had a good football education. I'm sure he performed well at his last loan club, will he now make progression nearer the first team or nearer a better loan team?

re: petrucci... I've read the lad apparently loves to tackle nower days, heard he's grown & spread out. We need vids of tunnicliffe & petrucci ya know.. could also be an interesting partnership in the making right there...

I don't know why but he just reminds me of Stam. Not the way he plays but he does seem to have this fear factor around him. I guess that is just me.

I would not get your hopes up too high on this lad.

    JustTooClever23 Why no Jesse Lingard?

Have to agree. Based on what I've seen of him mostly from his time at Peterborough, the lad seems to be more of a dynamo-type midfielder who will put himself about and get some crunching tackles in. In terms of technical ability though, guys like Pog, Rav and Petrucci are on a completely different level compared to Tunners. He's still young so there's room to improve of course but realistically, can't seem him even being a fringe player in our first-team squad long-term.

Hope he proves me wrong though..

Rumours that him and Michael Keane is going to Hull for loan next season....
Will be good if both get frequent games there (centre midfield partnership of Tunnicliffe and Corry Evans?)

last season loan was not fruitful for Tunnicliffe... hope he is not lost in transition after offering so much promise alongside the likes of Morrison and Pogba ... hope he will turn out to be another Cleverly type prospect atleast...

I thought it was too soon for him to loan to a Championship side.Hope this time will be better. He has something we lack of but he need to improve his all round game to be considered good enough.
I always hope we'll produce another array of centre midfield talents to fill the lack of quality in current squad.Cole,Tunners,Pogba,Petrucci in this crop and future Pearson,Rothwell,Harrop,...

I see him and Januzaj more as creative attacking midfielders (aka "number 10" or whatsoever) than centre midfielders.Pereira,too.Didn't watch or know much about Rudge,Weir,Yussif Adams,Callum Evans,Devonte Redmond,... to rate them.

I think Tunners will provide extra cover in midfield when we are switching to play more 4-2-3-1.Like we are going to defend then Fergie will sub an AM send Tunners onto the pitch for extra energy and defensive mind.
Pogba,Morrison was 18 last year,Powell is 18 and was bought not promoted,Petrucci is 20,Tunners is 19 so I think they will get more chances.
