September 22nd to Novvember 3rd is a very tricky run of games so early in the season...hopefully we'll ht the ground running
Would I be right in saying that Arsenal away and Chelsea are home will have a CL semi final slot inbetween? Other than that it seems okay. This period is tough though: September 22 Liverpool (A) September 29 Tottenham (H) October 6 Newcastle (A) October 20 Stoke (H) October 27 Chelsea (A) November 3 Arsenal (H)
Tables turned this year we have 5 away games after the Champions League ties and City are at home for 5 of them.
Our season really starts and gets going on September 22 when we play Liverpool, Tottenham and then Newcastle.
We've got Newcastle, Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool and City away immediately after 5 of our CL group stage games. Hope we have an easy group! Everton away is horrible on the first day to be honest.
Least our tough period of games is near enough at the start of the season, while all the players are fresh and not towards the end of the season where it will be harder for us with more chance of important players being injured etc.
the Chelsea and Arsenal fixtures are clubbed back to back both the times Home and Away 27 Oct Chelsea A 03 Nov Arsenal H 27 Apr Arsenal A 04 May Chelsea H
We need to get the group stage of the Champions League sewn up with a game remaining - City away after that one and it would be nice not to have to need a big result going into it. Mind you at least we get the Council House out of the way nice and early. Not happy about the away game after every UCL match again, but it happens like that sometimes. I'm making a prediction, United V City in the quarter finals - triple header.
Well Everton are notoriously slow starters and might be without Moyes if he ends up at Spurs so you never know. Overall it looks a tough draw for us.
