Really don't like the fixture list tbh but at the end of the day we have to play everyone twice anyway, sure it could be easier but I'm just excited for the new season now

I want us to smash everyone.

Just seen we're away on the fixture nearest to my birthday (again) QPR on Feb 23rd.

we will win against everton, anfield trip will be out of the way early which is good. city in april at OT won`t be a title decider this season but our last five games are tough but we can win them all.i just hope we don`t get the injury crisis that we had this season,it was a nightmare.the tough away matches after CL group stage games is definately sky`s doing.everyone knows its extremely hard to cope with.no way would they have given that to city

who would have thought it - first game and we get Everton - the game where we lost the title last season - Payback time - hit the scouse for 8 and send out a stark message to the rest of the league that we are back and we wont rest till we get that title back.

There aren't many harder games we could have got on the first day of the season than Everton away, so we'll really have to be focused when the season starts.

Overall, we've got a poor start to the season. As others have mentioned, that run from Sep-No looks terrible. On the up side though, if we came out of that having a good run of results then we can look forward to the rest of the season with optimism.

I never really care about the fixture list.

We play everyone twice. The team with the most points at the end of the 38 games wins the league. It's that simple.

Sure it would be nice to have an easy start, but it doesn't really matter. I'm confident that the team will be really determined to win their title back, especially because the way we lost it.

All I hope for is more attractive football than last season. I'm sure Kagawa and one more addition to the squad will help improve that.

We should work on the principle that no game is easy than any other, because it's the attitude that "oh it's only Stoke/Fulham/Swansea etc" that cost us the title. We're dropping too many points in the "smaller" games. Plus we need to make Old Trafford a fortress again. Teams come to OT now with the attitude of "hey we could get something here" rather than "Oh f*ck, we don't want to get rolled" and that's largely down to our own attitude.

It's often said that every United game is a team's cup final - well, it's time we approached every game as such.

    And the gaffer says....

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed his disappointment with the Premier League fixture list after it emerged that his side will be expected to play half of their fixtures away from home.

With trips to Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool forming part of the season’s fixtures, Ferguson has vented his anger at other sides being a handed a home advantage for 50% of the games.

“Over the course of the season it will work out that one in two of the games we play in the league will be away from home,” he fumed.

“It’s something the FA should take a look at, or we could be in a situation like last year where a side that I’m not the manager of wins the league.”

Ferguson has complained about the Premier League fixture list in the past. He was unhappy in the 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2011-2012 seasons, as well as all the seasons before, after United were forced to play all 38 games against teams that started the match with same number of players.

He also expressed his annoyance that they had to play each of the previous season’s top nine sides.

“When you’re playing teams that have a chance of beating you then there’s always the chance you could get beat,” he explained.

“I don’t thinks it’s fair that we should be expected to take that chance.”

He has also revealed his frustration at the fixtures for the 2013-2014 season that are due to be announced in a years time.

“I find it incredible that not only will we be expected to participate in games, but we will have to win them in order to pick up 3 points,” he blasted.

“They’ll be picking the referees for us next.”

According to someone Morrison did magical things in training and the reason he hasn't been used last season by West Ham is that he's inexperienced.Surely he will go to pre-season and hopefully compete for a first team spot.Anyway he's still an United Academy product.
He can be next season or next next season's Gibson.

I'm expecting our first game to be moved to either noon Sunday or Monday Night Football. City as Champions (and I just threw up in my mouth writing that) will get the 4:00 Sunday, and I expect Chelsea will be attractive as European Champions too. In fact we might not even be live that weekend as the "New Liverpool Regime" and Arsenal will also be catching Sky's eye. United away to Everton is not a marquee match in of itself.
