Wrong thread maybe but does anyone know the date when players are to report back to carrington? Can't wait for next season, alot too look forward to and alot of good football to be played. oh and a Champions League campaign that needs more conviction than last year.
Depends if Sky think other games are more attractive. New regimes at Liverpool and Spurs and also a reinforced Arsenal will all be possible angles they'll want to cover.
It is indeed, including reserves and youth team. I think that players involved in Euro 2012 get an extra week than those not involved. Not sure about any players who might be involved in team GB though.
Fergie hinted at one of his interviews that the Olympic players would miss the start of the season. Key name there of course is David De Gea.
won`t be getting sky sports anyway no matter what games they have, heard niall quinn sounded like a right tard at the end of this season and they stuck with him.sky will do whatever they can to make it easier for city, they`ll probably have them playing before us for most of next season.we`re still gonna win the title though thats the best way to shove it up their a*ses
Niall Quinn is a right tard. I maintain that as a broadcaster I think Sky has a duty to make sure impartial people commentate on it's games - especially the big ones. We had Smith calling the Arsenal games and laughing when United were denied decisions. I know Gary is in the studio - but he's not actually calling the action. I don't think that they would sabotage the fixtures though, I just think they do have their favourite teams that they like to show - that now includes City as well as Arsenal and Liverpool. I actually think that in terms of attractiveness we are actually lower on the TV totem pole than we've been for a while. On the plus side that means probably more 3 O'clock Saturday matches - the drawback is of course they won't be televised in the UK.
sky are an ABU channel.they don`t give many united legends a chance to pundit and hang on to dumb a*ses like redknapp, merson and thompson.man united will always be the most watched club in england even if sky prefer to show more arsenal, liverpool and city games than us in spite
With a big rubber dick after a rim job, I might add, and the Glazers are breaking the rest of it up and using it to beat us up (Sorry George Carlin no pun intended). We need a rock in the midfield!
wait gets longer by 2 more days Monday start for Reds Manchester United's 2012/2013 season will kick off on Monday 20 August at Everton. Sky Sports and ESPN have announced their first batch of live dates which means nine fixtures have been moved to accommodate television coverage. The trips to Southampton and Liverpool have been switched to a Sunday while the first Old Trafford encounter to be screened is the 29 September clash with Tottenham. The only other home match that will be live is the early kick-off against Arsenal on 3 November. Midweek games at home to West Ham (28 November) and Southampton (29 January) have been moved back to Wednesdays and there may be further fixture amendments subject to Europa League participation of other teams.
The Norwich game, on ESPN, has also been changed. Saturday 17th Norwich City v Manchester United 5:30pm
