Let us hope over the next few years that the bosses latest song rings true. We take care of our own wherever this flag is flown. Let us see how many are still posting five years from now. Watch the glory hunters melt away See you next year and the next and the next....
To all my fellow Man Utd fans - hope you're in good Kompany. I can imagine this is a difficult time for United fans. Don't take it too Hart. Yaya gotta keep your heads up. It won't be De Jong before you're smiling again. Look for the Silva lining. It may sound a bit Clichy but you'll be okay. We're gonna Toure them apart next season!
Last time Citeh won the league, they didnt win it again for 44 years and we for 20 odd. Lets hope only one side of that equation is repeated. Whatever they want to think and their pals in the media want to think, they arent as good as all that. Mankini thinks Chiteh can rival Barca and Real for spending, not with the FFP rules he cant. The PL was poor this season and the top teams, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool were all really poor, if they cant beat us by a country mile in a season like this where the squad balance was poor and lacking in depth and quality, where we picked up loads of injuries to key players and where Fergie made a lot of mistakes in team and tactical selection and where they did as badly in Europe as we did after spending almost a billion on players its likeley that they will find it tougher next season when they will be 'the team to beat' when Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, and others will all strengthen (well if Arsenal can hold on to the players they have) and maybe us too, except that I read with worry SAFs comments about the spending planned for this Summer, which sounded rather too much like last summer. But none the less, Im still hoping that the midfield and defence will get the quality players we need. City will be in for a surprise. It has indeed only just begun
That wasnt quite my point, my wife is always spending lots of money on little gadgets that she thinks may come in useful and just end up becoming clutter when putting the money towards something that we really need, like saving up to extend the kitchen would serve us better. Likewise, Fergie buys the likes of Jones, who MAY be stars of the future when that money would have been better spent putting towards the cost of buying a big strong dominant DM and/or a quality attacking midfielder. Even ready to use cover for Vidic. My worry is that even if we spend money, it may be on players who may fit the bill in a few years time (and many of the signings along those lines we made havent been huge successes in recent years - Ando for instance) but dont fill the desperate needs we have now
we all know that, and someone who can cover for Vidic in central defence when he's injured or needs a rest as Smalling, Jones and Evans clearly cant YET (at least not when they are having to fill the gaps left by our full backs) reliable full backes (left and right sided) too. And reading Fergies comments, hes going to go down the same route as last season again, nice to have future prospects who arent ready yet and will be so destroyed by the pressure that gets put on them when Fergie doesnt use them properly because he has to fill in gaps that he should have brought players to fill and hasnt got anyone qualified to cover that like Anderson they will either never meet their potential, or get injured too much (and then become long term casualties when rushed back). Still I hope Im wrong
We need fullbacks as i think next year Smalling will start the process of replacing Ferdinand and Evans is of course a decent backup. But i wouldn't be against signing a Hummels
Busby congratulated to City in 1968, Fergie say it in 2012 and Future United Coach will say it in the next 44 years Nothing to worry Just like mine.. My Girl friend since 2005, She is : 2005-2007 = Medical staff (Nurse) 2007-2008 = Not medical staff 2008-2011 = Medical staff ( Doctor) 2011-2011 = Not medical 2011-2012 = Medical staff (Midwife) 2012- = Not medical. I dont know it has correlation or not..
I was trying to hint that I felt that and Ive said as much myself frequently, so Im agreeing with you
Oi, Citeh,we ain't goin' anywhere. We will still be here hungrier than you could possibly imagine.See you next season............
And remember FFP applies and to comply you have to massively reduce your wage bill and make several hundred million more than you spend on the transfer market this summer
