Jose Mourinho. . . Some don't like him and I can understand why, but the guy is a pure winner and even those who don't like him as a character HAVE to respect his managerial record.

I also love Cloughy and Rinus Michels even though they were well before my time. I've read and watched a lot about them

Roberto Martinez, huge respect for him, a class act. Was delighted he didn't go to Liverpool.

As for my favourite, well, that's obvious:

Roberto Martinez is the most overrated coach that I can think of.

As for me it's Mourinho and Guus Hiddink.

There's a world of difference between giving it chops like he did when he came in - but he's more than backed it up, and that's something else entirely.

Most of my favourites have been mentioned. I'd like to add a few more names to the thread though.

Alan Curbishley...great guy, hopefully he'll make a return to management soon.

Jürgen Klopp...gives youth a chance & has an exciting brand of football.

Jogi Löw...the man's got class and a cool sidekick in Hansi Flick. Germany play the most attractive International football because of this duo.

What happened to Curbishley? Just completely off the radar now.

Jose Mourinho - I really wanted him to take the England job when McClaren was sacked. He's a brilliant manager and I enjoy his press conferences. The guy oozes class.

He goes on SSN every now and then. He's had chances to get back into management recently with Birmingham showing interest before they picked Lee Clark, & he was also interviewed by Wolves but he turned them down.
