Your take on Fergie in this IPO fiasco

This is just about football, she spouts shit to glazer loving fergie worshipping idiots and they lap it up, if you dare question her on the lies she is creating regarding our once proud club she will block you.

It's not over the top, I don't lose sleep over this issue but when you sit down and think about all things Manchester united, a club where thousands of us have sacrificed things in our life to watch them, support them and fight for. You have a lot to worry about without having some woman who is new to the world of soccer make our club even more laughable

It's embarrassing and shameful grown men have to lower themselves to personal attacks on a woman because of differing football issues.

With their mentality since I do not contribute to a popular blog or have thousands of twitter followers that would go against their thoughts then what I say has no bother to them, doesn't make me wrong though and doesn't change that I've changed my opinion on RI a whole lot in the last 12 months and I'm probably not the only one.

some of the greatest moments in my life have happened with united, I have met some great friends from decades ago at united and through following this club overseas and on dodgy trains in the 80s, it lives with you forever and it is not just a case of buying a replica top and liking our official facebook page. therefore I take a bit of a stance when someone just comes along in 2012 with modern day soccer views and spouts lies and ignorant views about our club.

none of these people would ever go on red issue forum and tell them their views because they would be simply shown up with cold hard facts. It is much easier to air these views to like minded people who bury their head in the sand mate.

Right, so to confirm, you condone the attack of a woman's personal life from a group of football fans who have (most likely) never met this woman face to face because of differing footballing views? I personally find that disgusting.

Sorry, nothing about football, no matter how commited or not you may be to it deserves that treatment. Especially since nothing she had said is particularly offensive.

What is there to gain for me from a group of people grouping up against an individual? Of course wouldn't make my opinion any less wrong/right, but personally I do not want these people delving into my life over an expressed opinion, which is probably exactly what they'd do if they get a sniff of someone going against them.

Would you accept that sort of attack on your mother/sister/partner/friend? Some of these struggle to distinguish between personal life and passion for sport.

What facts? It's just a vile attack on a woman's personal life! It's not about people burying their heads in the sand, it's about people not accepting the behaviour as some on RI. There are far worse on Twitter and blogs but of course you'll ignore that because it keeps in line with RI's views.

No fans, whether you believe they are die hard or plastic or anything should be bullied into their opinion. Once they are, that truly is the end.

This was of course one woman against a group of grown men. Some would take it much more seriously. Anybody who has utmost confidence in their views doesn't need to attack those who think differently personally anyway.

And it's not fake outrage. I am genuinely astounded that people can be so insulted by people having different opinions that they have to resort to personal attacks, and then try to mask it by claiming they are more dedicated/commited etc to their club.

Yes she did because a lot of them were directed at her via Twitter, she even responded to many of them and even posted a blog about it.

I'm not looking for attention or anything, I only brought it up because LUHG mentioned it and I wanted to know if he realised RI attacked her personal life. And then mentioned it again because I was surprised he seemed to condone the comments.

I have to wonder if the tables were turned and it was someone who isn't completely anti-Glazer or anti-Gill made personal attacks on someone who shares the views of RI and if you'd seem as laid back about it. My guess would be you'd be a lot more annoyed, not that I think you'd admit to it.

Again, if I thought RI would hear me out, or even want to then I would, but there's no chance of that. It would be a waste of my time and give me a lot more hassle than I would want.

You give us all a bad name. With any luck United will be rid of supporters like you in the not too distant future. If the Glazers could bring that about I would at least have something to thank them for.
