To be honest, I've had enough!

There has been more speculation this season than any other, as far as I can remember. I know we get linked with practically every player under the sun but has it ever been this bad?

Losing Keano and Ruud obviously added to it. As did the Italian fiasco.

I think my frustration is borne of the fact that we have, thus far, only made 1 signing and still need 2 more.

The jury is still out on the one signing we have made. Yes, Carrick is a good player. But we don't know if he has what it takes to make it at Utd yet. I suppose all signings must prove this.

Personally, I can't wait for 20th Aug when it will all be over and the season begins.

Then, whoever is in, is in. Whoever isn't, well, we will probably be linked to them either in Jan or next summer!

On today's menu we have::rolleyes:

Utd in for Kuyt.

Viera hinting at Utd move and also Inter tabling a bid of 6.5m for him.

Senna. Stories from both sides. Utd have made a bid and have not.

Chelsea entering the race for Torres in a player(s) + Cash deal. SWP and possibly Drogba.

Milan have seemingly also tabled a bid of 28m for Torres.

So if you want your noodle cooked from anywhere between rare to crispy, all the sources are here.

I totally agree, a lot of crap stories are going round. Carrick is a good signing, a bit expensive but hopefully he shows he's worth it. Imo we really should sign Torres. No way i want to see Kuyt or Drogba wearing a united shirt! dont even start about Vieira.

I think this seasons rumours have gone too far in that as the funs are so confused who is coming and who is not.carrick is a good player yes but spending is to big on a player of his category, because such money can sighn 2 good mid-fielders like mascherano, senna or viera. but my biggest prayer is that SAF should consider signing tevez in this crisis with his club fans he wont refuse the offer so as to replace van and shouldnt miss out on viera this time its an opportunity he cant afford tolose since viera admitted his love to join manutd.not leaving out mascherano to complete the mid-field.

Today...

We have Viera seemingly singing for Inter.

Mascherano saying that he will not accept any offer while Corinthians are in the position they are in (league wise).

Which leaves Senna as the top target.

Disgusted I am...

Seeminly Gaz Neville blanked Ronaldo on his return! Not because of his behaviour in the Eng V Port game, but because of Ronaldo's comments about his 'dream move' to Real..

Sir Alex and Gill said 'one or two' further signings.

The way we're going, it wouldn't surprise me if he classes Smith as a new signing upon his return, as well as Rossi.

Sir Alex can play it down as much as he wishes, but we all know we need a striker.

i agree we need one more striker and at least one more midfielder. hopefully torres as he has only two years left on his contract i think he will be going somewhere a cheaper option would be anelka, both got power and pace what we need. in midfield i would be happy with senna or nolan or both

Hello stevieg15, great to have another Irish person on the site!

As i understand it, it's looking increasing likely United will sign Marcos Senna from Villarreal, Alex Ferguson has said, during Carrick's press conference that United will sign another player before the season starts...he also said that he wants to bolster the midfield area..so, it looks like Senna's coming in.

As regards Anelka..no, thanks!..i really can't see United going near him and i do think that he's nowhere near the player that he was..

There's always been a question with Anelka's personality, he's a sulker and he's caused problems for clubs over his contract before, also the ex-Liverpool and Man City connection doesn't help!...so, no!
