Takes a lot of work to set up a new club, but I'd say they'll do well if they get the support. Despite being "The Pile" Interesting to see how it goes over the next few months, and if we'll hear of them again.....

My Pool mate was talking about this saying he would love to buy a share (except he's broke )
He said it was about 5 grand and everyone gets the same.....
100,000 shares up for sale.... Every fan can buy his bit.
(not 100% sure on accuracy of figures)

If it were to happen this would be great news for them.
A football club run by people who actually care. Its becoming rarer these days.
Not sure how it would effect their performances on the pitch (Gillett and Hicks hardly helped) . Hopefully they would stay the same
but its good for them if it happens......

No Jazz, I think you misunderstood or got mixed up, This is not the " Chip in £5,000, buy Loneypool FC " , this is a group of disillusioned fans like FC United fans wanting to form their own breakaway club...A club that fans really own, where each member has one share, one vote, where fans have a say in the running of a club, where fans that are priced out/forced out can go to a game at 3pm on a Saturday and stand/sing/drink with their mates.

That reminds me.

I'll be attending my first Ebbsfleet United game after the takeover by the MyFootballclub website on 1st March when they play Northwich Victoria.

Man United are away at Fulham that day and it's not on TV so I thought I'd take the opportunity to see the Fleet play live. Thankfully I'll be able to keep an eye on Man United's score through the magic of WAP!

The Fleet are live on Setanta Sports against Crawley tonight if anyone is interested.
