Awesome Arsenal

So did anybody see the highlights of Arsenal winning 7-0 last night?

At the start of the season some people were quick to write them off and others had predicted their successful start to the season.

They were absolutely unstoppable last night and the goals they scored were just incredible. I am a fan of good football and I have to say I was very impressed with what I saw yesterday.

So will this kind of form continue? Will they be up there at the end of the season?
Can they win the Champions league?

Maybe some of these questions will be answered in their next 2 Premiership games. They play Liverpool and ourselves.....

Your thoughts please:

I really hate them...hate em, hate em..... but I really think they have the chance to win the title...in fact i think they will easily beat liverpool , and lose aginst us.... they're good but we're better
Already I say here that this season will have United and Arsenal maybe 10-12 point clear

Then Liverpool and Chelsea to make the top 4.

Will we shake away from Arsenal plebs ?

Hmmmmmmmm......

I hope so but dont think it will be easy !!!
Arsenal did look good. We created loads of chances last night as well. We could easily have scored 7 or 8!
I liked that match, because I am not Slavia's supporter.

Arsenal were unstopabble because of opponent, who played terribly.

This kind of form should continue against weak opponents only.

Good point Law. They were weak opponents it seems as were Kiev who we played. Maybe it shows that the English clubs are starting to dominate in Europe. Whoever they were playing last night they would have destroyed I think. I couldnt believe some of their goals and play. Hleb, Cesc and Walcott were amazing last night. Im happier its Arsenal playing like this than it being Liverpool or Chelsea.
It will be interesting to see how Arsenal do in the next two weeks away to Liverpool then home to United. We then see the how good they are, They are playing really well at the moment and are spreading the goals around, But i dont know why but i say when they do get beat for the 1st time this season, it will affect them big time!

Yeah, but I wouldn't compare Slavia with Kiev - Slavia is less dangerous.

Slavia showed no confidence (they don't have any, apparently). They played with too much respect. Golman Vaniak (37) has been given the biggest amount of goals in his career so far.
Slavia Prague...arsenal wanted to secure the qualification..and they're in a good form..for now..but it won't last too long
i can't believe there's a thread at manunited forum called " awesome arsenal " :p

if any team is currently doing better than, scoring more goals than and playing better football than United IS awesome in my opinion. I wrote the thread after watching their 7 goals. As Carly said honesty is the best policy. Im not one of these fans that cant see past United. Im realistic and fair. Credit where credit is due for the Arse imo

May I remind you, it was against Slavia Prague. In comparison to United doing it to AS Roma 7-1 last season that is nothing! More like made look awesome by thrashing some team, that in the CL, look rubbish!

At least United thrashed a half decent side in the CL!

Thanks for the reminder AG as I had clearly forgotten
These 7 goal victories dont happen often and probably should never happen in a competition like the Champions league but now and again they do. Just like the Roma game all the goals were fantastic and it was a great night for football fans.
Its irrelevant that they smashed Slavia Prague that night. My point is that Aresnal are looking like a very dangerous team at the moment. They will have tough tests in the coming weeks but if you or anyone expects them to fade away quietly you can think again because it wont happen. They are probably our greatest rivals this year yet I still hear United fans saying they are shit without Henry, it wont last, they will falter blah blah blah  . Any United fan that thinks like should take off their red tinted glasses.

Arsenal have been brilliant this season...so far.

There is a huge question mark about whether they can sustain this form. The 2 games they have against Liverpool and United coming up will be a big test for them.

Let's not forget they were minutes away from losing against Fulham and struggled at Ewood Park against a physical team. I'm still not convinced they can win when they are playing badly away from home (especially against physical sides) - and champions have to do that sometimes.

If they're still top at Christmas then I'll start taking them seriously but I'm not too worried about them at the moment.

Arsenal thrashing Slavia Prague in the CL is like United thrashing Exeter 7-0 in the FA cup. Whats impressive about thrashing a team who are a divisions below in quality - absolutely nothing!!! Credit where credit is due - my arse. Fair enough they are doing great in the league. But winning 7-0 against a joke of opposition in the Cl - well ....... that defo deserves credit!!

Thats where you reminded me ;)
You cant seriously compare Slavia to Exeter  Thats just insulting to them and very inaccurate.

The English league is ranked 2nd in the league rankings, the Belgian league is ranked 12 and is regarded as level to the CC championship. So maybe Exeter are not the right team for comparison, but a top 5 team in league might!
You are being a bit harsh about Slavia Parague AG.

I have to admit they have looked like conceding plenty of goals in the Champions League (Sevilla scored 4 against them) but I don't think they are the worst team in the Champions League, or even in their group for that matter, so for Arsenal to thrash them 7-0 is impressive.

They've already beaten Steaua Bucharest and will probably qualify for the UEFA Cup.
