To me it really depends where and who we are playing...if its at home then yeah 4-4-2 all the way but if its against a team who plays a similar formation with some influential centre mids like Pool then a 4-5-1 is good because the game will be won in the centre mid and having 3 will do us good.

fair enough we've done jobs in the 4-3-3 - 4-5-1 systems but yesterday backfired, so now surely we will revert back to 4-4-2 and trust our own ability ?
anderson has for me got to be in this system, we need to play with no fear like we did when we went to anfield and the emirates remeber anyone ? for as good as scholes is he isnt best for the 4-4-2 hargreaves and anderson in the middle play with two wingers with tevez and rooney playing up frontt with the usuall back four !

You read my mind. Right now we need energy , pace , fearlessness and courage. The time has come for United to stop impersonating other teams and start doing what they do best with players in positions they like (ie 4-4-2). Watching them recently has been like watching a team trying to do a limp impression of Man U. It's like watching England under Sven. I agree with you but I also might be tempted to play a team as close as poss. to the roma 7-1 game and say " go and do it again". My worry is that you can't just turn on the form like that after so much negativity. I do hope they don't just sit back and watch Barca play pretty triangles like we did against Arsenal and then only light the fireworks at 0-1.
