you're a funny guy. Nah looks like we may be able to sign him again. i just had a look at skysports.com and it says that southampton have denied claims of tottenahm signing bale. Why would he wanna go there anyway they won't ever achieve much (i hope). he should just come to us, it would be better for his career. We take care of players unlike arsenal (theo walcott) and chelsea (shaun wright-phillips). SWP may be playing good now but really and truelly he should have just stayed at man city. Aaron Lennon is better than him anyway
Bale to have medical at Tottenham
Southampton defender Gareth Bale is exected to have a medical at Tottenham on Wednesday after the two clubs agreed a fee, reports BBC Radio Wales.
Saints boss George Burley earlier denied reports a fee had been agreed between the two clubs.
But sources close to the 17-year-old expect him to sign within days.
Spurs had a bid of about £10m accepted by Saints in January, but Welsh international Bale rejected the chance to move to White Hart Lane.
The teenager has only one year left on his contract and was also linked with moves to Arsenal and Manchester United.
