Lets say Becks and Fergie were best mates and that, do you think Beckham woul dbe capable of cutting it in the Prem with United? The Seria A is a slower paced game generally, yet he's starting games for one of the biggest clubs in the world playing with stars like Kaka and Ronaldinho. Also, England and International football can be very tough at times, yet he is still named in the squads selected by Capello.

Not saying he would start for United, but do you think he could provide us with something. One thing for sure is we've scored less goals from corners since his departure and he is still one of if not the best dead ball kicker out there IMO.

He can still provide quality balls to the box. But what do we have there? Two hobbits and a Bulgarian who likes to drop deep. No Ruud, no good.

LMAFO...first comment that has actually made me laugh on here in a while!

...seriously though. Vidic/Ronaldo/Berbatov/Evans/O'Shea/Ferdinand/Carrick are all tall players for frees/corners

A retoric question in my opinion, as much as i like Becks i have to say that it depends, when we sign a player the first question that comes to mind is if he`ll settle with the entire squad and provides a good partnership with the team mates. The same thing comes to mind when i mention Becks, fair enough, its still Manchester United and that makes a huge difference but the players has changed, the rotation of the squad has differ and all in all you can`t say that the style of play is the same as it was 8 years ago or so, of course.
Altho i`d link to think he`ll adjust well, he has many individual qualities such as the precise freekicks and corners he provides which might not need the help of his team mates after all.

Glad to be of service

Seriously though apart from Vidic and Ronaldo, and occasionally Ferdinand, our aerial threat is non existent. Don't think it would be a good idea to get him for his deliveries from a dead ball situation. After all, we have Tosic who is a dead ball specialist if Youtube can be trusted.

Not unless he sat right behind the front two, and put in through balls the entire time. That'd force us to change formations to accommodate him, and he's not good enough to build a team around.

Yes, Revanth has it right - he's in the right place in Serie A for where he and his game are at at the moment - and, though I have always greatly admired Becks and think he's a top bloke, where would he get a game in our team?...... at least he's pretty much a first choice at the Rossonieri......

I think by now he would have moved back in-field (where he actually started) to center mid, as Giggsy is, and yes I think he would still be an excellent player for us.

he is Top quality, and has more than just his outstanding dead ball and crossing ability, but as mentioned before Serie A is slower and suits him better, i think he could play a part for a team in the prem, maybe even a decent squad player for us but it's unlikely and in Serie A he can play more and keep up his skills with the ball and his fitness

exactly, the fact is like giggs theres is no way he can successfully play on the wings just with the fact that he has lost pace, but I will even go on to say that he would have more success than giggsy in the center of the park.

Could never see him in the premier league again, as it has been said imo it's quick and rough for him the seria a is slower less hard tackles, which give him less injuries and more chances to play for england which i could not see him doing if he played in the premier league
