I think we should thank the emergence of Darren Bent in the pre-season. Without his recent scoring explosion, I doubt Tottenham would be ready to sell us Berbs.

Sheesh, does he realize that he is not coaching basketball? I mean, I know it gets pretty confusing since both have nets, but try investing in some defense.

He has some attributes of King Eric, but I get wary of people comparing him to Eric and saying he is going to be the second coming. He has none of the personality that Eric had/has and won't have the special connection with the fans, IMO. That is the reason Eric is still revered so highly here, is that he loved playing in front of us, as much as we loved watching him play for us.

But I do think he would be a fantastic purchase for us.
