Huntelaar Scored 30 + in 05/06 and 07/08
he have scored allot in the dutch league and i know that this dont meant that he gona score the same way in the premier league.
Huntelaar early carrer looks like ruud early carrer
they both found there feet in the second league
then both have been signed by heerinveen and shined with the team
and then both have been signed by a top dutch team (psv/ajax)
ruud then joined manchester united to be the best goalscoring machine ever 100 goal in 3 years
we signed ruud at about huntelaar age now 24/25
so there is nothing can stop the hunter to follow van nistelrooy feet

Ajax striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar claims Manchester United are "very interested" in signing him.

The 24-year-old's failure to agree a new contract at the Amsterdam ArenA has led to speculation he could be in line for a move, and the Holland frontman reckons the English champions are keen to acquire his services.

"I know certain English clubs are following me, like Manchester United, who are very interested in me," he told Dutch reporters.

Huntelaar added: "I love clubs with great history like Ajax, I also love Manchester United.

"It's a club that makes me dream, especially as Ruud van Nistelrooy played there and did great things with them."

Berbatov is class. Proven in the Premier League. Has scored amazing individual goals. Excellent first touch, he isn't that slow and would link up really well with Rooney.

Huntelaar on the other hand has an amazing goal scoring record but in the DUTCH league. He is a bit of an unknown entity and it would be gamble for Fergie to bring him to Utd. Take a look at Mateja Kezman, he was a HUGE flop at Chelsea. 3 goals in 25 apps or something like that.

Berbatov also prefers to stay at home feeding squirrels from his balcony instead of going to night clubs.

and he was 24
Huntelaar scored this season 33 and he is 24

Yes but Ruud, before injuries took there toll, was a much better football player than Huntellaer, he could set them up, finish them off etc.

While yes Huntellaer was very similar to RVN in terms of his predetory instincts, RVN had so much more to his game than that.

I read some where that Berbatov played in a FA Cup final? Really? Which one? Wasn't it only the League Cup final?

I still believe Berbatov is the last piece to our top class squad and would be a better signing than Huntelaar and after reading the posts above I have been even more convinced lol

People like Abo dismissing Berba and just stating Huntelaar will score 30+ with no real justification really does not help the Huntelaar case...

here is a justification even its not 100% correct but it can be correct
ruud scored less than huntelaar the dutch league and when ruud joined us he banged goals

dont think so
he is 180 cm and so light weight
huntelaar aint that tall but he is a beast
defendrs in the dutch are always afraid of him.

plus huntelaar have some europian experience
he played in the EUFA cup and scored some goals
