basically that goes for nearly all tabloids , they all make up stories to sell papers
The players agents are not so bad giving new blood to the vampires either. Sometimes there's people around the player(s) who sell their stories to the tabloids to earn a few quid too.

Thats whats going on with Ronaldo. This summer he's been paying the mortage on many houses around the world when they could sell 'exclusive' information of Ronaldos future. :D

Even though the sun does make up some BS i still think they are reliable on sport issues...
If you trust a word that is printed in The Sun then you are an idiot, it is a cheap tacky paper that completely makes up over the top stories to sell papers. This is the newspaper that claimed they had an exclusive interview with Sir Alex, but it turned out that all they had done was cut and pasted something they saw on an obscure scandinavian website. The Sun are responsible for Tottenham reporting us to the FA, so why are you still buying this paper????

Better than The Sun?..

Exclusive: Andrei Arshavin on his way to Tottenham
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...avin-on-his-way-to-tottenham-115875-20699823/

Tottenham are ready to clinch the signing of Russian star Andrei Arshavin this weekend - and open the door for Dimitar Berbatov to join Manchester United.

White Hart Lane supremo Daniel Levy has made the breakthrough on the protracted move to land Euro 2008 ace Arshavin, with a deal of just over £20million to be settled with Zenit St Petersburg.............

Looking around too, it seems that only Mirror knows. :D

What was interesting is when I was watching the news conference in which Fergie declared Rooney fit for the Newcastle game was that when one of the reporters asked about Berbatov, Fergie simply responded by saying "No, I have nothing to say...nothing has changed".

A little clue? Spurs demanding £28m+ but United not willing to budge? Also the fact he has said that he has a "surprise" to come in the next two days (over the weekend)...we shall see :D.

Berba Demands Devils Switch

The Bulgarian hitman has been edging ever closer to Old Trafford over the past few days, as negotiations between United and Spurs have entered the latter stages.

It has been reported that only a fee remains to be agreed, and that the eventual sum will likely be a compromise between the £25million offer and the £28million asking price.

However, the Lilywhites are reluctant to strengthen their Premier League rivals and are supposedly entertaining the option of selling to Barcelona instead.

But latest reports claim Berbatov is eager to join the Red Devils and has made his desire known to the men in charge at White Hart Lane.

"Dimi’s decided to put in a transfer request," a friend of the ex-Bayer Leverkusen player told The Sun.

"He can’t wait to go to Old Trafford and play for United.

"He feels he behaved professionally throughout this period. He has never spoken publicly on the situation out of respect for Tottenham.

"But he does not want to miss out on the start of United’s season and he feels that was his only option left."

Berbatov arrives with Spurs squad
http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,2483_3994356,00.html

Dimitar Berbatov has been included in Tottenham's squad to face Middlesbrough despite reports he is close to joining Manchester United.

The Bulgarian's whereabouts had been the subject of conjecture for most of the morning, with continued reports he was completing the finer details of a move to Old Trafford.

However, he disembarked the Spurs bus at Middlesbrough wearing a club tracksuit and with a baseball cap pulled tightly to his head, before sidling through the players' entrance.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson added fuel to the fire with his remark during his Friday press conference there would be a "surprise" to come in the next 48 hours.
