Dalglish - 3 European Cups, 6 leagues, 4 league cups, fa cup. Plus a runner-up in european cup too.
Played until he was late 30's I think, spent his whole career with two big clubs.
Not many people remember Best anymore. Dalglish was around in the 80's, when Liverpool were most successful, plus that's the age of many voters.
If I weren't a United fan I probablr wouldn't of voted Best, cos I've never seen him play.
I'm not saying Best isn't the greatest - as he most probably is from stories and clips I've read/watched, but I'm just saying that not everyone will have a United bias, or the age where they could of watched Best in his prime.
Some of the other candidates:
Banks - known by every football fan in Britain. Probably the greatest English keeper (arguable of course). Plus as it's an English poll, English people will vote for players who won the world cup for them - regardless if they were actually better than others.
Same for Moore, England world-cup winning captain speaks volumes. Everyone knows him and votes for him.
Ian Rush - more people would of seen him.
Also, most of this country are ABU. Anything to get one over on MUFC.
I voted for Best by the way.
