Marvellous performance. We made a team who were 3rd in the Premiership look very ordinary, on their home turf. Capping it was a hat trick from Rooney, but overall, it was a marvellous, fast flowing, team game in which all played their part. Giggs was magnificent, Scholes stupendous, Vidic was awesome and can head a ball further than some can kick! Ronaldo enjoyed the day immensely and scored with a very unselfish lay off from Saha who had done all the work to get the ball into the box, then he squared it to an unmarked Ronaldo when he could very well have scored himself. Neville, Ferdinand & Co ran a very well organised defence. Even VdS got into the act with some excellent saves when Bolton tried to come back in the second half.
