The coaches will work on Nani. Give him time. It takes a few seasons to get him into quality of Ronaldo. Nani has better raw talent than Ronaldo. He has the potential to be better than Ronaldo. It has to be developed.

Nani and Ronaldo were about as good as each other in their first seasons for United. Nani will come good i reckon. Next season he'll be in the list of most improved along with players such as Walcott, Taylor and a few others i think.

Why not?

His first season has been better than Ronaldo's first season with us. His raw talent is there for all to see. Just needs grooming by the right people to make his game improve. Excellent shot on him, can run with the ball. He also tracks back which Ronaldo rarely does.

I think Rooney is our most valuable player though, even if Ronaldo stays. I'll be more devastated if Rooney left than Ronaldo.

I commented that I though Nani was better this season than Ronaldo was in his first season.

Nani does have the abilty. He just needs time, especially his decision making.

But he actually has a better cross than Ronaldo (with both feet) and tracks back. Those are just two of his positive attributes.

i think we've seen a few of nani's wonder goals. obviously pot shots like spurs/boro are part luck part skill and i still don't think ronaldo does that too much from open play to be honest (not that im complaining) his goals against the scouse and arsenal in the cup were also great team goals. however, just like ronaldo, he is very hit and miss. i

think the difference between him 1st season and ronaldo 1st year is that he is halfway there on most aspects of his game. he just needs to get much more consistent and learn to use the ball more effectively instead of running dead ends and losing the ball. at some games, i find myself cringing when the ball is played to him and others, namely barca 2nd leg, i was begging for fergie to start him.

i watched ronnys first game on mutv last week and realised that all he had was pace and tricks. but they didnt need improving, just channeling into the right moments. thus in my opinion, nani is at a more advanced stage after a year.

Nani is quality how good he can be cannot be compared just because he had a better first season than ronaldo's. The obsession to find the next 'next' is to much. Even if ronaldo stays or leaves we will have the new Nani, backflips and all.

it was one freaking match. you can't say that after ONE spur of the moment thing. i understand if he had done it more then 3 times this season, but he didn't.

IMO after 2 or 3 years he is going to be a brilliant player, just like Ronaldo.

Ronaldo for me is propably the best footballer in the world of all time
I'm the first fan of Nani but we cannot compare the 2 guys now.
