I think that he will do really well. He has a great club record, One of the best club managers in the World, Aye it will be interesting to see how he gets on in International level

as you said.....he is good manager and I just can't wait to see his skills leading some national team.

Young Mr Skele here jumps to the conclusion a bit quick

They have yet to make the final contract agreement.....

I hear he is to be paid between 4 mill and 6 mill per year.....

he is in my opinion the perfect fit for england because he will demand respect immediately from the players and the media. something mcclaren did not have.
very true, and he has a proven track record and coached so many of the top
stars for many many years. This is the guy you need to do well.
With him at the helm you will go very far and do extremely well. Id be pretty confident about that and thats coming from an Irishman.

Id like to hear the thoughts of a few English about it. Its all us 'foreigners' that have commented so far lol
Anyway best of luck to him. Its one tough job alright.

Watching England over the years has been boring, frustrating and embarrassing. There's no passion, no commitment and no togetherness about the team. I'm a United fan before I'm an England fan so I don't really care much about a national team that doesn't care about it's supporters. I'd give Ian Holloway the job just for a laugh :)
