Cardiff have dismissed out of hand reports which have linked their teenage midfielder Aaron Ramsey with a move to Manchester United, but have admitted that if an offer matching their valuation of the player is met they would consider it.
The 17-year-old has enjoyed his breakthrough season at Ninian Park this year and his displays for the Championship side have won high praise.
Not far behind the plaudits however has been speculation over his future and Premier League champions United have reportedly been eyeing up the Wales Under-21 international.
“I know absolutely nothing about any offer from Manchester United,†Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale told the South Wales Echo. “Every scout under the sun is watching Cardiff City at the moment and every player has a value.
“Aaron Ramsey is a Cardiff City player and there is absolutely no agreement with anybody for next season.
“We are building at Cardiff City, although it has always been the case that every player is for sale at the right price.â€
