Its only the Carling cup - not important to United. Fergie can give the youths a run.

Come on Southend :D
United will discover their opponents in the third round of the Carling Cup on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds, who have won the competition in 1992 and 2006, go into the hat along with 32 other teams - 16 of whom are from the Barclays Premier League.

Sunderland, Wigan and Derby County were eliminated by lower league opposition in the second round, which United and fellow European competitors sat out with a bye.

The only second round tie which is yet to be resolved is Nottingham Forest against Leicester City, which was abandoned at half-time on Wednesday evening. The game will be replayed on Tuesday, September 18
i care about every trophy even the carling cup
me too...i hope for Southend at home..to humiliate them for our exit last yearX(X(X
Meh, whats the point getting a shit team at home.

We want a lower league team away, non-match goers wont understand.

i understand lol

We got Coventry at Old Trafford though
Thats ****ing shit, dont know how im gonna sell my ticket for that.
Actually I think its very interesting. We haven't played them in such a long time and Dowie has them flying high in the Championship. Yes we are the overwhelming favorites but unless we play like the game is already won we might be victims of the "Giant-Killers".

Arsenal vs Newcastle will be very tough for both teams
Liverpool at the Madjeski stadium, Reading will fancy their chances there.
Chelsea have Hull City FFS, (they always get easy draws)
Actually for get Southend for now......the way we play so far this season we will get 99% possession and get whooped.....
cant see many big name players playing in that one..
