by the same comitee ( international federation of football history and stats) that named Kaka the best playmaker and Buffon the best goalkeeper---

According to them - the manager that took milan to the roof of the world is the best manager of the world ( mathematically)
Man United's SAF finished runner up while Fabio Capello - England newly appointed manager finished only 11th considering that he took Real all the way to the crown
Top 10 managers :

1. Carlo Ancelotti (Milan)
2. Alex Ferguson (Manchester United)
3. Juande Ramos (Tottenham Hotspur)
4. Arsene Wenger (Arsenal)
5. Jose Mourinho (Without a club)
6. Rafael Benitez (Liverpool)
7. Frank Rijkaard (Barcelona)
8. Roberto Mancini (Inter)
9. Miguel Angelo Russo (Boca Juniors)
10. Gustavo Alfaro (Arsenal di Sarandi)

Honestly, using a mathematical formula to determine who is the best playmaker, manager, keeper, etc. is a bunch of crap. I mean, for playmaker, they don't have Scholes on the bloody list! What kind of crap is that. Now they tell us SAF isn't better than Ancelotti?

If this is the case, then I'll compare them to Arsenal supporters, and mathematically find out who is more of a dumbass.

Thats a stupid list tbh.

You've got 2 managers, Miguel Angelo Russo and Gustavo Alfaro who manage in weak leagues, and the second one I haven't even heard of the team he manages.

And anyway, how can you calculate the players mathematically?

Stupid.

Ancelotti has spanked US including SAF 3 times in 4 matches . coincidence ? Well, they have Buffon as the best GK - you can't argue with that, and they also have Kaka as the best playmaker, you can't argue with that either. It would be strange for SAF to finish 1st ahead of a manager who won 2 great trophies last year. I adore SAF, I really do, but somehow I think he lacks only a bit of tactical skills when playing Italians ( like any other UK manager, no offence ) ... but that's only my opinion, don't go on slating me and saying that I'm no fan because of that...

This is a joke. Football is not Maths. Explain to me why a manager who cant keep the best player in the world out of the bottom half of his league is so brilliant? And Rafa? If United concentrated on the CL we could win it, but we try in ALL competitions and go nearly all the way in everything.

yeah right...ancelotti my a**......Sir Alex should've won it clearly....and second should be Juande Ramos...ancelotti should be 5ty or 6th something like this
and why is that ? because we're a bit biased ? ancelotti beat him last year and won a trophy which is more appreciated in Europe

i agree with CROoney on this.........ancelotti is truly a great manager.......
I'm not saying that he's better than SAF - but last year he gained an advantage over him. end off. the only manager I rate as high as SAF or even above is Fabio Capello....

he won the cl, but does league form not count for anything theses days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
It does count "for anything" ( that's why SAF is a runner up. that and a fact that we reached the semis last. inter won scudetto but there's no mancini UP there ) but European form counts "for everything";) ...

Who has done more, Fergie or Ancelotti? No contest, Fergie! Big Sam is better than Ancelotti for what he managed to do with Bolton!!!
lol...this was a result of last years' achivements... and Fergie has done more, no doubt about that . But then again who can guarantee Carlo wouldn't do the same if given 20 years in charge of the same club:rolleyes: ...and you didn't need that "Big Sam" part..."english are overrated " comes to my mind. i bet FA would except Ancelotti over ANY english manager

CROoney, I see where you're coming from, but Sir Alex should have won. Ancelotti doesn't deserve it. Milan got into the competition because Fiorentina didn't file their paperwork to UEFA because they didn't know Milan were going to get disqualified. Milan started in negative points, effectively canceling any chance of them winning the Scudetto. United won the Premiership, got to the final of the FA Cup, and we almost reached the final of the Champions League. If this award is over the past year, it should have gone to Sir Alex, if the judging is more than one year, it still should have gone to Sir Alex.

SAF doesnt give a rats about things like this.
Ancelloti won the CL so fair play to him.
Fergie won the Prem so fair play to him.
Im assuming they know they are good managers in general
and I know they dont care about things like this.
All they want is trophies, the bigger the better.
SAF wont be happy till he brings the CL trophy home again.

milan won CL and they are current World club champions. Furthermore - reaching a finals or semis is not as same as winning it - Chelsea reached the semis last year, pushed us all the way in the EPL and won a double with cups...That's 1 trophy more than us, but that is not enough to be regarded as a top manager. But there have got to be priorities. You can't value all trophies the same, and CL is the most important in Europe, because all the champions are there. i think that CL trophy and the fact that Carlo spanked us 3-0 at Milan holds an edge ( according to IFFHS ) over Fergies' EPL trophy.
