He was a first team regular and a very good one may I add ! He's got experience playing in EPL and he's more quality than our deputys I think. I haven't seen Foster that much but I think Carlo has got what it takes to be a comptetition to Kusczcak and Ben. Then whoever wins the place - keeps it. He's quality , shame he never opted playing for England ( I read somewhere that was a posibility ) ! He would be more appreciated had he opted. I really can't remember his mistakes. He was along with Given the best GK outside the top 3 at the time

GREAT keeper, but we've got 3 keepers who can start for an EPL side, that's enough, even when Edwin retires or whatnot, we'd have Tomasz and Ben fighting it out for one spot...with maybe the likes of Heaton getting a bench appearance more often than not..ifw e're worried about Ben's injuries etc, an old experienced head would be great...I've ALWAYS rated Cudicini as one of the best keepers in Britian. Probably top 5 in my eyes.

Cudicini is a quality goal keeper. For me, he was the best in the league for a period of time alongside Given. But I said it before and I'll say it again, I dont think we need yet another goalie. If Sir Alex sees that Foster may not be the same player after his injury then fine. Other than that, I think we're well secured.

I think he is better, but yeah you're right don't think we could get him, or if we even want him.

Also, on the subject of Chelsea Keepers I don't see why Cech is rated SO highly..good keeper yes, best in the world/england? Doubtful.

Cudicini wouldn't be a good buy IMO. He's 34 already and only has a few years left in him. We should go for a young keeper.

no, i just think our 2 substitutes are not good enough to be the first choice in a club such as big as United ! They both conceeded goals from oposing goalkeeper from opnents half... Plus that funny goal against Sporting and a laughable performance against Chelsea last season and the omens are there. It as if we have another Howard os God forbid Carroll
as for abramobitch part -And that's excactly what I thought when seeing we're interested in Veloseo while having a crowded midfield already . I'm only concerned about the GK position because we may have solid GKs we need another superb quality and not so expensive. Because VDS's contribution has been incredible. I'm not sure people realise how many quality saves he's got . Not one on one's or such but he's so calm about longh shots and crosses. and that's unmesaurable.
