Carlos Tévez #32
I believe that saha should be sold. When he plays he gives his all but is too frequently injured and so cannot impose himself on the team. Smith is not what i would call united quality he too often makes the wrong run, does not hold up the ball and breaks up quick attacks with indecisive passing.
United got rid of ruud because i fell the manager felt he did not fit into the teams new style of playing. No longer are united a 4-4-2 cross the ball at every oppertunity team. They play quick, flowing counter attack football that often means there is not a set striker required. Giggs Rooney, Ronaldo, and Scholes all find them selves in the attacking third in many different positions throughout the game. I feel that someone like Tevez would be the ideal signing as he is strong, creative, skillful and extremly quick. He would help link up the passing that is so often being slowed down by Smith. At Westham he hasnt been able to shine due to the quality of player around him - against chelsea he was the best player on the park and i feel he would strengthen united if he was bought - probably for a reasonable fee if west-ham go down.
The other option woud be David Villa although he would come with a heafty price tag and unlike Tevez is untested in England
