Carlos Tévez #32

I believe that saha should be sold. When he plays he gives his all but is too frequently injured and so cannot impose himself on the team. Smith is not what i would call united quality he too often makes the wrong run, does not hold up the ball and breaks up quick attacks with indecisive passing.
United got rid of ruud because i fell the manager felt he did not fit into the teams new style of playing. No longer are united a 4-4-2 cross the ball at every oppertunity team. They play quick, flowing counter attack football that often means there is not a set striker required. Giggs Rooney, Ronaldo, and Scholes all find them selves in the attacking third in many different positions throughout the game. I feel that someone like Tevez would be the ideal signing as he is strong, creative, skillful and extremly quick. He would help link up the passing that is so often being slowed down by Smith. At Westham he hasnt been able to shine due to the quality of player around him - against chelsea he was the best player on the park and i feel he would strengthen united if he was bought - probably for a reasonable fee if west-ham go down.
The other option woud be David Villa although he would come with a heafty price tag and unlike Tevez is untested in England

G
we shouldnt get tevez - him and rooney upfront?? (censored remarks - rd).

Its allright sayin we play the fast flowin football, along the floor etc, but that isnt always going to work, we need a big, strong striker who is also quick,to compliment rooney - my choice would be berbatov or fernando torres. Both pricey though.
i totally agree with Johnboy84....tevez is short...but instead of aiming for brebatov or torres...i would say huntelaar or Pazini...y no one has looked at that wonderkid??
pazini is a tall strong quick player and can score headers...i think he would make an amazing partnership with rooney up front
thats very offensive saha is amazing hes got talent and hes fast if we need to get rid of someone its gary neville.

Left intact to prove idiocy of poster!! - RD.
GET RID OF GARY NEVILLE!!!! are u insane (excuse me but u got me shook up a bit) man neville is a very good right back..one of the best in the world..if not the best...he knws how to coordinate defence..he's simply brilliant...
Saha is a great player...but he's injury prone...time for him to look else where

Gary Neville is a fellow Mancunian and is probably the most passionate player in the dressing room along with Paul Scholes. "Get rid of him", that and "Gary Neville", will never be in the same sentence.
omg cant get rid of neville dude his like the god-father of manu lol
Get rid of G.Neville, is this guy on crack ???

Carlos Tevez? Mmmm.....Torres, Owen, Berbatov and Eto'o and we'll settle for the guy with warts on his neck? Nah....
What a stupid thing to say.
Carlos Tevez needs another year in the premiership, maybe until January to prove himself before we should make a big-money move for him.
Can I respectfully suggest some of you get your brains in gear before you post such trivial rubbish!!

Thread will be closed if this continues.
defensively were as sound as a pound, i think sir alex has learnt a lesson from chelsea and the italians here when building his third team, get your defense right then build forward, the importance of this is paramount as all attacks start from the back. a little worried that the likes of brown and heinze will move on next season in the search of first team football but even so that would give us, neville, bardo, o'shea, simpson, lee, rio, vidic, sly, evra, evans, pique, a whole host of youngsters.

hargreaves to bolster the centre midfield would be perfect, that gives us scholes the genius of a ginger prince, giggs who is being penciled for a more central role next season, fletch the up n comin midfield maestro and all round player, the class act that is carrick, and hargo-efficiency personified. world class all round and all able to play alongside each other no matter what pairing (or trio if 4-5-1) almost forgot o'shea and pique, can also do job

Ribery to add the skill and technique to the wings, from what seen on yon youtube he looks as though he has it all. that gives us Ronnie, Park, giggs if need be, fletch if need be, ichardson, eagles, martin, not forgetting ole, roo or rossi. the new ron nani also a possibility if the funds arent there for ribs

up front if it were possible, try and tempt old larsson back, but in all seriousness if klaas jan goalhunter were to be tempted here without too much bother from the likes of chelsea or milan, then right on, perfect for roo who started his football education with van the man senior, why not reignite that partnership with jan the man junior. roo, smith, saha, ole, dong, rossi and klass jan, bloody nora, i want milan blood next season.

hargo-haggle down to 18mil
nani-17mil
klass jan-15mil

total-50mil bang on, of course tis all speculation and approximations

ribs-25mil, sell brown for 10mil

sorry wrong thread
See less See more
Sell Wes Brown for £10m? He'll be sold for about £3m and I want him to stay tbh.
wes is worth more than 3mil, 10 too much but having grown a lot this few months i think he is a proven himself to be a genuinely class defender, if he keeps his head and gets a full season elswere then well see what he's worth. potentially at the right club he could be as much of a hero as vidic has been to us. wesleys problem is he's not aggressive enough
Nani won't cost 17m.. He hasn't signed a new contract yet and so there is no clause for 17m.. He'll be 9-10m
Buy Klaas Jan Huntelaar his scoring record for ajax is amazing. 38 goals in 47 games this season,

Now that is a striker
aye i think he should be sold and he should get Klaas Jan Huntelaar hes got 23 goals this year does any one agree we should get him
