Cant believe Terry and Cech won the awards ffs. Were they not watching the thing?
All the English teams got ok draws. Missed bayern and Juve.
Villareal is probably the toughest but shouldnt be a problem.
FFS Lampard just won best midfielder.....wtf. 3 Chelsea players.
Errr United own the thing.

Not the best draw so far.

United
Villareal
Celtic (again)

Pool have Psv and Marseille. They have no chance lol

Real, Juve and Zenit seems a toughie.

I'm shocked that we got such an easy draw.
It could have been a lot easier. celtic is always tough. We lost at theirs last time.
Villareal are pretty good as well and could cause problems.
Its an ok draw but definitely NOT an easy draw.

Dates for your Diary
17 September - Villarreal (H)
30 September - Aalborg (A)
21 October - Celtic (H)
5 November - Celtic (A)
25 November - Villarreal (A)
10 December - Aalborg (H)
This is actually a VERY nice draw. Arguably the toughest opponents Villareal
will come to OT first. If we get a good start in front of a big crowd, being the
defending champions, and then to Aalborg which should be fine.
Celtic at home then. We could have 9 points at this stage and be cruising.
We could even afford a slip in one of the next 2 away games or even 2 draws
and then have an easy game to end it at home. Sweet draw imo.

regarding the travel, its also a bonus. Geographically blessed for this one. lol
thnx Spelly

REDS BOSS WELCOMES SHORT-HAUL DRAW

Sir Alex Ferguson was a happy man after the Champions League draw, having safely avoided trips to far-flung destinations such as Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.

Instead he'll take his European champions on much shorter flights to Scotland, Spain and Denmark, for games against Celtic, Villarreal and Aalborg BK.

Sir Alex told Red View . "Aalborg's new but we've had Villarreal and Celtic before. It's always nice to go to my home city and being drawn against Celtic adds spice.

"The bonus for us is there's not much travelling to do. We're satisfied with the group and we hope to get the 10 points to see us qualify.
