I saw the newly released Handicap betting for the coming season.

We give Chelsea a 2 point start....Liverpool a 9 point start !!!

Last season this Handicap league was won easily by Reading. They were deemed to be destined for relegation and were given a 50 point start on Chelsea.......as we all now know they did very well for themselves.

A surprise package this season could be Sunderland.

The Black Cats have been given a 40 point start on us - will we catch them or will we not.

Here is the market - all teams are 15/1 to win the league taking into account their handicap.

This means nothing as far as the Premier League table is concerned, the only thing I care about are the number of games we play and the number of points we have and compare that to what position we are in the table.
We have to do what we did last season, manage to stay 1st because that is where we belong, I won't even accept second place, we've been through that heartache in the 2005/2006 season.
