remember last season? we scored a lot of beautiful team goals..but sometimes team play alone is just not enough..there were times when we find it difficult to break through the defense..with the likes of ronaldo and rooney particularly, they gave us some valuable points by scoring lots of individual goals which ensure us to win the title last season..with the combination of both, we are the most entertaining team to watch, and this time we can be on top again bcoz we have that extra cutting edge..

Ya I agree 'ron'....

Ronaldo saved us many times last season with individualistic brilliance... e.g....against fulham...
However the partnership between him and the rest of the team...especially Rooney...was outstanding..and that counter-attack goal proves it.
I feel Anderson in midfield brings the whole team into play with magnificent long-range passing and his intense work rate..

If Ronaldo can maintain his form from last season and the Rooney-Tevez partnership continues to thrive and become even better with each game...we will be a serious force to be reckoned with... both in the premiership and in the champions league..

Agreed. All the top teams have individuals who can win them games. Arsenal have Fabregas, Van Persie and Rosicky. Chelsea have Drogba, Lampard and to a lesser extent Joe Cole and Malouda. And united arent any different.

What makes us special though, is the fact that we seem to have the right balance between all the attributes needed for a team to succeed. We dont walk the ball into the net and we dont hit the ball long for the tall guy up front. We combine teamwork, determination and character with the attacking flair we've always been known for. That what makes us special. When we want to play football we play the best football on the planet and when things dont go our way we have that character and desire to nick a win out of nothing.

Keano4 mentioned Ronaldos individual brilliance with his goal against fulham last season, I agree, but may I add that although it was in the 87th minute or so Rnaldo had 5 other united players supporting him in and around the box, searching for that win. United never satisfy with anything less than a win.

We have got the flair, we have got the desire and our players are winners.

what about liverpool though? they just sux in every way..that rotation policy crap brings them no good at all..i think they're more individuals than teamplay with the likes of gerrard and torres always saves them...team play? they struggle to score..
