My god where have they come from?

3 points behind us - hopefully six by Wednesday night, but can easily be 0.

These will run us really close for the crown this season. I think they'll beat us at the Bridge, so we have to build some sort of gap on them.

I honestly think they hold more of a threat over us than Arsenal do. Massive two games coming up for us.

Bolton - Need to beat them. Strongest team out, no mess-ups. Need to open up a 3-point gap on the two cóckney clubs, going into the game with Liverpool.

COME ON UNITED!

I say Man United 1st Chelsea 2nd and Arsenal 3rd in the final standings..they are much better than Arsenal and will beat them this Sunday and it will be tough to beat them at the Bridge. I just hope Arsenal and Chelsea draw and we beat liverpool to make the gap slightly bigger. You guys also have to note that they also have a game in hand like us so if they win and if we lose vs Bolton we are STUFFED!

I find it funny how people forget about them if they aren't making headlines. You only have to look at the league table over the last 2 months to realise its not a two horse race. Now we are 3 points above them but it's not an amazing advantage at the moment considering what fixtures there are.

Liverpool aren't even that far off, if they keep winning they'll creep up further. If they keep winning and we draw at the bridge they'll be almost 6 points behind.

The season is far from over!

It's always better when there are several tough competitors within few points, because otherwise the games are without the tense emotions - and that's what I want!
When we commence with transforming our chances into goals, we are the hottest pretenders to the title. I am sure of that.

Are Chelsea The Biggest Threat Now ?

They've been creeping back into contention for some time now - so could Chelsea
be the real threat to United's chances of retaining the Premier League title.

After their early season failures and the departure of Jose Mourinho Chelsea were
written off by many as title contenders.

It was a two-horse race, Arsenal and United - no-one else could touch them.

But fair play to Avram Grant for quietly turning round Chelsea's season and
removing much of the arrogance that surrounded the club and made them so
despised in recent seasons.

Yet after another win on Saturday, Chelsea are now within striking distance of
Arsenal - and with a game in hand.

Chelsea also look to have a more comfortable run in than United - who they still
have to play at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal appear to be their own worst enemy at the moment and with United on
top despite missing an alarming number of goal-scoring chances in all
competitions in recent weeks Chelsea are poised to take advantage of any more
slip-ups.

You have been warned (yet again).

Are Chelsea the biggest threat to United's Premier League chances?

i might be killed for this comment but i think it's possible arsenal finish fourth in the League :)
If Arsenal still don't know how to win, they surely will. :D

As some of us already noted in this forum, Chelsea have been quietly and ominously consistent, keeping pace with the two front runners, and ever waiting to pounce should there be any slip-up. Their form is most alarming at this moment but with less than 10 games to go only, I think any of the top three currently will still have a say, depending on who blink first. As it stands now, Arsenal have been blinking and blinking.... and may they keep blinking. :D

Coming back to the subject proper, so is then Chelsea the biggest threat now? Nah, absolutely not.

It is a much bigger and more formidable monster than Chelsea or Arsenal or any other team in the premiership. And no prize for guessing.... It is Ourselves.

Of course Chelsea are still in he title race. They werenever out of it imo.
Whats worring about them is that they are picking up results without really
playing tha well or hitting top gear. Scary to think what they couldbe like
if they hit top gear against ourselves and Arsenal. This years title will go down
to the last week or 2 of the season, like Ive always said. Its exciting for the
neutral and ourselves but we are in poll position and have to keeo the pressure
on. People say only worry about your own games, but for now I think thats wrong.
The Chelsea/Arse, Arse/Pool for example will be huge in determining where
the Premiership ends up. Lets hope the Scousers can do us a few favours like
they did in '96 and that Chelsea start drawing a few of the big games.

chelsea were always the main threat ,but if we can't nail this title from this position we don't deserve it.i honestly thought chelski would dominate the prem for 5 years, old fergie stopped them at 2 and now the tide is turning utds way again, this team is still in its infancy stage it probabley needs a proper world class striker and a quality left back ,then we re-enter the promised land.;) .

Chelsea? I would just LOVE IT if we beat em @ Stamford Bridge. JUST LOVE IT! :p Ahhh the days when Keegan almost pipped us to the title. Come on, you all remember. Has it really been 18 years? That seems like an eternity.
