just seen the interview on sky sports, and i thought he was already a villa player permenantly, but now it seems he has yet to sign for villa and is still officially a west brom player, just think with pique now gone would he be a good signing as an emerging england interntional, we all know how fergie likes to buy english and he would be cheaper than richards, granted he's not a full back but could provide good cover at centre back, one problem would be him not willing to wait for chances behind rio and vida ...

Hes quite injury prone imo, although he is talented.

But Richards would be a much better bet.

yeah i do agree that richards is a better bet, but imo he's better than pique, he can play but on the same token he can mix it and isn't affraid to put his head where boots are flying, he's a top young defender

I'm not saying hes not a good defender.

I did say he was talented. Hes just quite injury-prone by the look of things, and I would prefer Richards.

But if we did indeed sign him I would be happy.
