I can't even debate with you CROoney because you're too stubborn to face facts. Torres
had the best debut season in the history of the premier League and carried Liverpool
through the season almost single handedly. Without him they could have finished fifth or
sixth even. If you think 27 million pounds is too much for a player that will score at least
25 goals a season then I don't really know what to say to you.

Berbatov needed match time. He was barely involved in Spurs' pre-season so although he was thrown in at the deep end against Liverpool and Chelsea the time on the pitch will have done him good.

And boy has it paid dividends! Rooney and Berbatov have 10 goals between them. For all Tevez' good early form he only has 1 goal to his name and that came from a Berbatov pass. How do you drop Rooney or Berba at the moment?

Tevez hustles defenders, tracks back and is constantly running. I think he's a brilliant impact substitute to bring on when defenders are tiring. However, I think he'll still get plenty of starts as the season goes on.

One player can not win a trophy. He needs a help from the others. And to be honest the main reason for winnig CL and PL are C.Ronaldo's 40+ goals. Without them Tevez + Ronney wouldn't have won even a single trophy. I like Tevez but Rooney+Berbatov partnership is much better.

You really can't understand what i am trying to explain. RVN is much better in pure goalscoring. But neither RVN nor torres go back to take the ball. RVN is a scoring machine , but that is all. Berbatov is just another type. He is much more complex than all players you have stated. There are maybe 1-2 strikers like him /Del Piero for example/. Can't you see that all young midfielders in our team don't know how to play with target man. Nani can't give even a single good pass to him. So we can't play with pure goalscorer at this point. That's why Berbatov is so important for the team now.

I think it is time to stop writing on this thread. We definitely have different vision on this game.
