Reports in Germany claim that Chelsea are to make a shock move for long time Manchester United target Owen Hargreaves.

The midfielder has made no secret of his desire to leave Bayern, and has been pursued by Sir Alex Ferguson since last summer's World Cup.

Now Bayern Munich claim that the Blues have made secret enquiries about the England midfielder and, worryingly for United, the German club may be keen to listen to offers from the West London side after expressing an interest in signing Arjen Robben.
