Enough is enugh. I am terribly 'inspired' by the loss to West Ham to throw this unpleasant topic into the ring.

From my match-day posting on the West Ham game:

Most disastrous of all, and something I always tell my pals and am saying here, we like to assume victory won even with the slenderest of lead. Call it bad habit, culture, mentality or attitude, that is exactly how we threw away precious victories against Arsenal in past seasons and recently, plus other defeats. Sit back, foot off the pedal and invite attacks by our opponents. When pressure intensified, you will see some panic defending and wild clearances. Too familiar, eh? And SAF seemed to think so too, withdrawing Tevez, our only other fit striker. Many may not agree with me but I firmly believe that if we keep the ball in their half, how can they score? On the contrary, if we sit back and invite wave after wave of attacks, we are just asking for trouble and waiting for 'accident' to happen. And it did, not once but twice today.

So what do you bros think? Does Man Utd indeed have this frightening trait?

What I think is simple: we had a bad game, several people weren't playing up to par. That's the way the game goes.

We like to laugh and make fun of our rivals when they have a shite game, we have to be able to take it when we have one also. The important thing is we pick ourselves up and go to B'ham with our winning attitude and make it happen.

Firstly, I am not a "bro"!!! god, I hate that phrase, so "ethnic", so gangsta or whatever you call it.

Secondly this thread is ............................

Spot On! United do have a self destruct button and we use it approx 6 times a season, against lower divisional teams. Bolton, West Ham, City - games we should NOT be losing, we are losing!

This has been going on since approx 1992 when Fergie discovered squad rotation.

West ham is beggining to become a boggey team, we can't seem to finish them off. United have always struggles when playing the smaller teams, i have always wanted us to get a bigger team when playing in the FA cup or micky mouse cup. 1Bad game and people a saying we should sell Fletcher and Carrick. I hope they were only joking.

lost 3 can only afford to lose 1 or 2 more. ars only lost 1. its all down to fergie. he's takin teams like bolton and west ham too lightly. rest our players against the bottom half teams at home. we are so good at home. hargreeves and flecther offer notin goin forward. anderson had to start. we missed rooney big time. centre midfield hav to start scorin. scholes has got 1 thats it. anderson, carrick, hargreeves and fletch hav non.
