Enough is enugh. I am terribly 'inspired' by the loss to West Ham to throw this unpleasant topic into the ring.
From my match-day posting on the West Ham game:
Most disastrous of all, and something I always tell my pals and am saying here, we like to assume victory won even with the slenderest of lead. Call it bad habit, culture, mentality or attitude, that is exactly how we threw away precious victories against Arsenal in past seasons and recently, plus other defeats. Sit back, foot off the pedal and invite attacks by our opponents. When pressure intensified, you will see some panic defending and wild clearances. Too familiar, eh? And SAF seemed to think so too, withdrawing Tevez, our only other fit striker. Many may not agree with me but I firmly believe that if we keep the ball in their half, how can they score? On the contrary, if we sit back and invite wave after wave of attacks, we are just asking for trouble and waiting for 'accident' to happen. And it did, not once but twice today.
So what do you bros think? Does Man Utd indeed have this frightening trait?
