....................... Giggs will equalise Bobby Charlton's record of attendances for United against wigan, if he plays. He will then, obviously, beat it if he plays in the Champions League final v Chelski in Moscow. I used the word, obviously, as its Giggs favourite word in interviews, obviously!

Apparently, somewhere back in the mysts of tyme; Bobby was credited with a game in which he never actually played.

Er, why would this be a joke? If it was a joke, it would be in JOKES! This is actually in The Independent today, so its not even from me!

How awesome would it be for the Legend himself, to break Sir Bobby's record in Moscow and win the CL as well. Heres hoping he does.

This smells fishy to me is giggs been told he may not feature again so they are letting him finish with the record . For me giggs has looked over the hill well over the hill this season smells fishy to me.

I agree, I hope he comes on the 90th minute in both games. Interesting that they wiped Bobby's game off. That could easily signal that Giggs may not play next season, we'll have to wait and see, personally

Personally, I think he shoud retire, he has been a great servant for the club and I don't want to remember him as being over the hill when he finishes.

He'll play next season anyway, just for sentimental reasons, but for a while he's seemed over the hill...which is quite sad really!

Lifting the Premiership Title while equaling the record whould be phenominal, but lifting the Champions League while breaking the record would be on a whole new level. What a fitting tribute it would be for a true United great.

The only thing that would make it sweeter would have been if it had been United's and Giggsy's 11th Premiership title, to go with his shirt number. I think had this been the case Giggsy may well have called it quits at the end of this season.

But as it is, Giggs will go on and break the record, wether it is in Moscow, or Manchester.

BC was credited with a game he never played in.

Giggs was asked about the record in Moscow after the game and replied, records are to look back on - trophies are for now.

Yeah........

......Its a strange one alright! I doubt Fergie will start him in the final...may do so
against Wigan but he'll be a sub in the final, simply because Fergie cares more
about silverware then records...

Fair play to him anyways......could be a fantastic night for Ryan!

Imo, Giggs is going to beat the record this season.

But what I want to know is, whos the fool that attributed Sir Bobby with a game he never played in?

I say fool because its a pretty dreadful mistake
