Charity match for the 'Alan Ball Memorial Cup.' ITV4 Thursday 15th May.
St. Mary's Stadium, Southampton.

Legends Match info

Household names from England and Scotland will come together in front of an international TV audience live on ITV4 to compete for The Alan Ball Memorial Cup in tribute to the legendary World Cup Winner. The match will mark the first time senior England and Scotland football teams have clashed since the game decided by Don Hutchinson's 1-0 winner in November 1999.
England v Scotland resurrects a rivalry without equal anywhere on the planet, the oldest in world football.

Manager for The England Legends will be former Everton, Manchester City and England midfielder Peter Reid.
Shearer could join a 12-strong England Legends squad that already includes former England Captain Bryan Robson, Stan Collymore, Les Ferdinand, Paul Merson, Graeme Le Saux, Paul Parker, Nigel Winterburn, Mark Wright and Des Walker, Chris Woods, Ray Parlour and Lee Sharpe.

Scotland Legends Manager Graeme Souness has Bryan Gunn in goal, John Wark, Colin Hendry, Matt Elliott, Richard Gough, Dave McPherson, Tom Boyd, John Collins, Kevin Gallacher, Tosh McKinlay, Darren Jackson, Brian McClair, Gordon Durie and Billy Dodds."

“We're all still disappointed that England didn't beat Croatia and qualify for EURO 2008. However, there's still a lot to be proud of in English football. We have the greatest domestic league, the best stadiums and definitely the best crowds of any country in the world. While England might not be playing this summer, we want the country to get behind The England Legends and prove to the rest of Europe that we can still enjoy our football whether we qualify for major tournaments or not. .â€
