Three-times African Footballer of the Year & Cameroon prolific hitman Samuel Eto'o has warned Spanish giants FC Barcelona he will seek pastures new if they fail to make an improved challenge for silverware next season.
Saturday's 0-0 goalless stalemate draw against RCD Espanyol has all but ended Barca's hopes of winning the Primera Liga title while they need to get past in-form Manchester United if they are to reach the Champions League final.
Should they fail in both those objectives then it will be a second successive season without a major trophy for the Catalan giants, and Eto'o admits he will look to leave if things do not change next season, with a different country looking his likely destination.
"At Barcelona and in Spain I have reached the top," Eto'o was quoted as saying by Spanish newspaper Marca.
"If next year we continue the same without winning titles here, I will have to go to another place because what I want is to win titles."
