The Dutch squad:

Goalkeepers: Edwin van der Sar; Henk Timmer; Maarten Stekelenburg

Defenders: Khalid Boulahrouz; Giovanni van Bronckhorst; Tim de Cler; Kew Jaliens; Jan Kromkamp; Joris Mathijsen; Mario Melchiot; Andre Ooijer; Civard Sprockel; Wilfred Bouma; Urby Emanuelson; John Heitinga; Evander Sno

Midfielders: Ibrahim Afellay; Nigel de Jong; Denny Landzaat; Stijn Schaars; David Mendes da Silva; Wesley Sneijder; Demy de Zeeuw; Theo Janssen; Hedwiges Maduro; Martijn Meerdink; Rafael van der Vaart

Strikers: Orlando Engelaar; Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink; Arjen Robben; Ryan Babel; Romeo Castelen; Klaas-Jan Huntelaar; Danny Koevermans; Dirk Kuyt; Ruud van Nistelrooij; Robin van Persie; Andwele Slory

Remarkably, Seedorf refused to play for the dutch team. He doesn't agree with Van Basten. Also he wont join the Olympic squad.

Theo Jansen and Sprockel play both at vitesse, 12th place in the league.

Evander Sno was active as a striker for the Dutch u-21 team, and he was quite good at it! While it is really a defender.

It's either RvN or Huntelaar imo. They're similiar players i think. Definately want to see vd Vaart, Sneijder and v. Persie in the starting line-up.

Freddie have had more injuries then Ronaldo scored goals...well almost anyway :D The physio say he'll be fit for the first game on June 7th. But he's been very injury prone this last few seasons. The only thing who keep him going is his iron will.

Portugals squad:

Goalies: Ricardo, Real Betis, Quim, Benfica, Rui Patricio, Sporting Lissabon.

Defence: Jose Bosingwa, (ex Porto) Chelsea, Ricardo Carvalho, Chelsea, Paulo Ferreira, Chelsea, Pepe, Real Madrid, Bruno Alves, Porto, Fernando Meira, Stuttgart, Miguel, Valencia, Jorge Ribeiro, Boavista.

Midfield and attackers: Petit, Benfica, Miguel Veloso, Sporting Lissabon, Joao Moutinho, do, Raul Meireles, Porto, Deco, Barcelona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United, Nani, Manchester United, Ricardo Quaresma, Porto, Simao Sabrosa, Atletico Madrid, Nuno Gomes, Benfica, Hugo Almeida, Werder Bremen, Helder Postiga, Panathinaikos.

I think the strikers of Portugal looks very cheap. They will rely too much on Ronaldo and the other offensive midfielders to creat goals. Not my winner really.
