right people. im doing a fantasy football team for euro 2008 with william hill. basically there are no prices for players you can pick who ever you want but you must have a 4 4 2 and can only have 3 players at the most from each country.

Having a bit of a problem with my left back and goalkeeper. Iv choose this team based on the face all these teams will avoid eachother in the groups and are all favs to win their group and if they all win their groups will all avoid eachother meaning more points for me . Top price 10 grand so yeah i am trying but heres my problem

Ricardo/Lehmann/Buffon

Lahm - Metzelder - Ramos - Carvalho/Zambrotta

Fabregas - Deco - Ballack - Pirlo

Ronaldo - Torres

Ronaldo has to be a striker apaz dont ask me why but i think portugal play him there so william hill have chucked him in the strikers

reason im considering ricardo and lehmann is because their countries have easier groups than italy so if france do italy over or even holland and romania then im screwed. but its safer bet for port and germ keepers cause they have easy group

same thing applies for carv and zam but if i choose carv iv gotta take lehmann or buffon

so help me solve this people please

lol yeah man i was thinking that cause port are safer defense why cause of lack of comp and jens may not get played because his still stuck on the gooners bench and ricardo is only good when pens are involved. cheers for the help tho dude

If I was you, I would go for Carvalho, Buffon and remove Deco tbh.

I don't think much of Deco. But saying that, I don't know who else you could pick!

I would need to see a list of players.

You're right - Ronaldo is classed as a forward by Portugal.

An Italian goalkeeper and defender makes sense to me - when have the Italians ever conceded many goals? I'd go for Buffon and Zambrotta.

yeah i didnt really wanna include deco, but this aint about the best team its about who plays the most and will take in the most points but yeah i agree deco does suck, just him and ronnie are portugal really

ricardo and carvalho, or buffon and zambrotta...because then they are both from the same team meaning if they win , you win if you know what i mean

Robben for Hollands a great shot for midfield

I don't see Ronaldo as a striker though, Nuno Gomez is Portugal's key striker, and he'll score bucketloads!!
Stick with Carvalho and you defence is solid! get rid of deco, even consider Srna from Croatia, he will do very well I think!

I think you should go with Lehman in net due to the fact Italy are missing their strongest defender and i think will concede more than the Germans, due to this and i would have Carvalho in defense again due to the fact Zambrotta is Italian and the same as above.

Do you get points for a defender scoring? If so i would say Carvalho is more likely to score than Zambrotta is.

Deco in my opinion is a wrong choice to have as i dont rate him atall maybe you could have Sneijder or maybe Rosicky instead??
