Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta believes that everyone is to blame for the poor season the club endured last term.
The Blaugrana were less than perfect last term and a number of obscurities and off field distractions made things worse.
The Camp Nou side finished the season empty handed and it led to a major shake up at the club.
Iniesta has pointed the finger at everyone including himself for the woes the team suffered and he is also happy Samuel Eto'o stayed on at the club.
“Everyone is to blame for the shambles last season,†said Iniesta.
“It was clear it was down to the players more than anything.
“Samuel? We always wanted him to stay but there were some differences with the club. However, this has all been settled and we are happy he stayed.
“Barcelona needs Samuel and he needs Barcelona.â€
The Spanish international also spoke about the 4-0 win over Wisla in the Champions League preliminaries.
“The feeling inside the dressing room was great after the game and it feels very different to last year,†continued the midfielder.
“We have played more matches and the changes within the team have brought more excitement and enthusiasm to the team.
“Now we have to keep it up and follow this road to success.â€
The Blaugrana will be hoping to rise back to the pinnacle of the game following a two year spell without any trophies.
