Pat primed for final push

Patrice Evra wants to maintain a big match mentality as United approach the final seven fixtures of the league season.

The French left-back helped the Reds to produce a powerhouse performance against archrivals Liverpool and insists all remaining games should be treated in the same way by the champions.

"Psychologically it was very good for us to win against Liverpool," says Evra

so this result could be what wins us the title or not ?

I don't think this result has won us the title, but it will have done everyone the world of good. The confidence of the team will now be sky high. It was great to see Vida and Rio playing alongside eachother, and we handled Torres with ease.

So now for our 7 cup final's. If we win 5, and draw against Arsenal and Chelsea the job is done. 5 points clear is a great boost to have, but it doesn't mean we are there yet. The lads need to stay focused but if they can do that, then we will hopefully see out 17th league championship.
