unsure about the fullbacks, aint heard anything on neville or brown. o'shea played with tht foot problem last night, plus evra could do with a break before inter.

At the cottage up against a good fulham side who will fancy their chances in the cup, 2-1 to us

Fulham's loss to Hull could have done us a huge favour. Their form at Craven Cottage was fantastic and they would have been very confident going into this weekend...up until Manucho popped up in the last minute with a winner. Fulham don't concede many so it could be a tight game. I'd happily take a 1-0.

I Rather play Tosic on Left Nani on Right and Anderson and Possebon in middle with Welbeck and Tevez up front because we need to rest ey players for Inter game.

I think we're taking this game for granted, SAF and the team will have a an eye on the game on Wednesday definitely therefore the team will not be full strength and I full expect players like VDS, Vida, Berba etc. to be rested.

Plus Fulham have a really good home record, one of the best around, however losing to Hull in the last minute and virtually dominating a whole game would knock your confidence.

Team

Foster

O'Shea Evans Rio Fabio(?)

Ronaldo Scholes Anderson Nani

Welbeck Tevez

The team is really hard to guess as we don't know how SAF will go for it. Will Giggsy start the CL game? Whether he'll rest others like Ronaldo, especially after his preformance yesterday, plus he's played so many games recently. I think SAF could quite easily play Anderson on the left and Nani down the right with Scholes and Fletch in the middiel of the park, that way resting Ronaldo and then if we need some sort of spark bring him on.

I think we may end up having to play a replay from this one but I hope not so 1-0 United.

Agree.

The stakes on Wednesday is just too high, not to mention the same Saturday's Poo game.

I would take any form of victory just to do away with a replay. Win very ugly would do for me.

Or time for him to score with his backside perhaps. ;)
or an OG pinged off schwarzers face will suffice! agree with your point, win ugly by any means necessary. its how we will have to win some games in the run in if we are to claim the remaining 3 trophies on offer.

this will be another carling cup style side, and fulham will be gutted to have let that last minute goal in last night. they are a tough side at home, and any sort of win would do us really. hodgson has got them playing good football, especially at home. they keep it tight, and grab a goal so i'm expecting 1-0, maybe 2. fergie will be looking towards wednesday, so a few youngsters will get a look in.

Happy Days its being showed on ITV!

I can see this being a scrappy game a 1-0 win more likely to us but you can't discount Fulham they will be rightly fired up for this game and will make it extremely hard for us they're gonna be at full strength and they have made craven cottage a fortress this year.

Can't be sure about full backs, but would love to see Tosic given the start this would be a good game to see what he's like against a decent side.

Skysports.com- Preview

Manchester United travel to Fulham on Saturday in the sixth round of the FA Cup as they begin what is a massive week for the club.

After their trip to Craven Cottage, United host Inter Milan on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League last-16 second leg with the tie evenly poised at 0-0.

There will be no let-up for the Red Devils as just three days later they will be out to end Liverpool's title hopes once and for all as they welcome the Merseysiders on Saturday lunchtime.

Fulham meanwhile will be out to book their place in the semi-finals of the competition for only the sixth time in their history.

Fulham team news

Manager Roy Hodgson has no new injury worries ahead of the cup clash but is likely to have learnt lessons from the club's previous encounter with United.

The former Blackburn boss experimented with a 4-5-1 formation at Old Trafford for the league match just over two weeks ago and subsequently lost 3-0.

The 61-year-old boss is likely to stick with his usual 4-4-2 system on Saturday as he looks to rely on his side's impressive record at Craven Cottage this term, with just two defeats in 15 games in all competitions.

Hodgson is likely to stick with striker Bobby Zamora up-front despite his return of just four goals this season.

Fellow striker Diomansy Kamara could be pushing for a start after recovering from a knee injury which has kept him sidelined since the summer.

The 28-year-old has been on the bench for three of the Cottagers' last four games, coming on twice, and Hodgson could look to the pacey Senegalese ace to freshen things up.

United team news

Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has no new injuries with long-term casualties Rafael (ankle), Wes Brown (foot) and Owen Hargreaves (knee) the only guaranteed absentees.

Number one Edwin Van der Sar looks set to miss out against his former club with his manager set to give him another rest.

The Dutch shot-stopper conceded his first goal in 1,311 minutes of league football on Wednesday at Newcastle and Carling Cup final hero Ben Foster looks set to benefit.

Ferguson may have one eye on Wednesday's visit of Jose Mourinho's side so one of either Rio Ferdinand or Nemanja Vidic could step down with Jonny Evans coming in.

Midfielders Paul Scholes and Darren Gibson will also be looking to start after both were left out for the midweek trip to the North East.

Fellow midfielder Anderson could force his way in after returning from an ankle injury from the bench against Tottenham in the Carling Cup final after nearly a month on the sidelines.

Argentinean forward Carlos Tevez should be recovered from his Carling Cup exertions after being left out against the Magpies and he could be handed a start.

Finally Cristiano Ronaldo could find himself on the bench after completing 120 minutes against Spurs on Sunday and then 90 minutes against Newcastle just three days later.

O'Shea---Ferdinand----Vidic-----Evra

Fletcher---Scholes---Anderson--Park

------------Rooney--Tevez

Would start Ronaldo on the bench for this one because I think its improtant he get him a rest with two massive games coming up, hes played a lot lately. Bring Scholes and Anderson into mindfield because I don't think they will play against Inter. Surrounding them with Fletcher Park Rooney and Tevez because they aren't great defensively so that gives them some cover. In defense you can't really take any chances with youngsters at this stage in the FA Cup, apparently Neville isn't back yet, so have OShea in there with Fletcher to give him some strong cover. Evra has been looking a bit edgy last couple of games the hopefully the cover of Park will serve him well and help bring his confidence up. Rooney is really getting confident at the moment and just needs to carry on playing to keep the momentum and Tevez will be up for the cup atmosphere.

Prediction: A battling 1-0 victory
